I do not like the new management and they could learn a thing or two about how to run a business. Several items are no longer in stock and I know many other people who feel the same and we have all taken our business (or the bulk of it elsewhere). Independent family run businesses are much better and myself, along with many other locals feel the same about this place. The staff are great still and they do an awesome job every single time. Nothing is too much trouble but management needs an overhaul.”

“Super shop to visit. Petbarn Chirnside Park seem to have quite a large store, very clean and everything is fully stocked. I needed an inflatable dog collar and the Chirnside Park store had a lot more stock than other shops. Staff were also super helpful. I was served with a very friendly staff member who recommended another, softer product. Highly recommend popping in.”

Unfortunately due to what was wrong with her we had to have her euthanised on Wednesday. David was kind, caring, compassionate and understanding. “I went to this vet who told me my dog needed 2 operations on her legs and I should start training her to live in a crate now in preparation for after surgery, sending me the estimate, without investigating further. The explanation lacked any compassion, vet seemed over it. Since then I went to a different vet (rated 4.9 on Google with over 200 reviews) and saw 2 different doctors at the clinic. The first doctor after feeling my dogs legs said potentially one leg needed an operation, then after X-ray the second said it was not required - regular visits to altona beach to strengthen my dogs legs were instead prescribed. The explanation from the second vet clinic much more detailed and compassionate than the one I received at petstock.”
