They provided very clear instructions, liaised with my vet, and reassured me when I got nervous that everything would be ok, and it was! They were also super helpful when we had to delay Molly’s departure due to surgery and got us a new spot at PEQ in no time at all. Pet Express May not have been the cheapest option but every cent was money well spent for their professionalism, assistance and kindness. “My husband and I did extensive research on the most frequently used companies, and based on other reviews, we chose Airpets International and have no regrets. From the beginning of the process with Randi to the end with Dakota, the team was responsive and thorough. Flying our two fur babies from Belgium to Hawaii was very stressful and nerve-wracking; however, Dakota was on top of everything, and she and the individuals who helped with transportation, flights, and boarding in Brussels, Frankfurt, LAX, and Honolulu ensured that everything went smoothly, including a very quick direct airport release in Honolulu. The personal updates, photos, and door-to-door service, which included ice cubes in the water bowls en route to the dogs' new home in Hawaii, were wonderful personal touches. We cannot say enough about this company and highly recommend it. Yes, these pet shipping services are pricey but you cannot put a price tag on peace of mind.”

“Shady company that doesn't stand behind their products. I ordered a wheelchair for my dog in Feb 2023. In July, one of the buckle clasps broke on the harness. I should note that the clasp fits poorly over the aluminum struts on the chair - a clear design flaw that they didn't address prior to production. I called Walkin pets, waited on hold with 2 people in the queue for nearly a 1/2 hour. The representative seemed nice enough until she told me it would be $40 to replace the harness. I told her that it was clearly a material defect with the plastic on the clasp (I'm a mechanical engineer) but no use - she was unapologetic that I needed to pay up. She even offered to sell me expensive expedited shipping (LOL - thanks!). Throughout this entire process, I was also continually asked to purchase upgrade items to my chair. Irritating as I just wanted a remedy to my broken harness. She would not yield on this so I mentioned that I was going to leave a poor review for their quality and customer service. In response she just hung up on me. I didn't yell or become irate - I only expressed that I was disappointed at their unwillingness to stand behind the quality of their expensive chairs, Pretty disrespectful to just hang up, but reading other comments/reviews it appears this place is only interested in separating you from as much money as possible and won't help you if you have a problem. So not only do they make a poor quality product, they disrespect you and make you pay more $$ just to keep their poorly designed product functioning. If you find an alternative, I suggest you go with it. These guys are the kind of company that you want to avoid.”

“Jessica at Air Animal moved Princess Leia from Southampton, NY to Cape Town. I am a very nervous pet owner and from the outset it was clear that Jessica was very experienced. Jessica was always available to speak to me although it was not always immediate which initially was disconcerting, but I soon realized Jessica was “on it”. My USDA veterinarian also said Air Animal was one of the most organized companies she had ever worked with. I am especially given Jessica 5 stars because plans changed at the last minute and she showed incredible flexibility and most importantly, I received all my documents in time. Thanks Jess for a job very well done.”

“A nice clean shelter with friendly and helpful staff. The hours are limited though (Tues-Sat, 1pm-5pm when we visited) and you have to check in with your cell phone when you arrive. So if you try and go on a Saturday, it can be a 30-60 wait or even longer if it's really busy. So make sure to take this into account if deciding to visit this place. Definitely worth visiting though if you are looking to adopt an animal.”
