“I bring my two young (3yo) cats here. They are really great! They do have a Praxiskatze, s/he is very well behaved. They give you blankets with a calming pheremone when you come in to drape over your carrier, which is perfect for my two scardey-cats. The front desk staff are absolutely lovely. The vet I saw was also extremely lovely and gentle with my cats, and even explained to me why my boy has a lot of eye discharge, which I had never heard from the adoption agency or my old vet! They gave me a "Pass" (Passport) from their practice so they could keep record of the care my cats had recieved. The vet even went ahead and trimmed up my cats' nails for me, which was very nice of her! She also offered to trim up their butt-fur (longhairs) since they often get, ahem, "excrement" stuck in there. I did also go back a second time to get some Beruhigungsmittel (sedatives) for a car trip my cats needed to take. They were helpful and thoroughly explained the process and dosages to me. Overall, I am extremely pleased with their care of my two felines! I will absolutely be going back. (Cat tax below!)”

“Perhaps one of the best guest houses we’ve stayed at, Pension Kitty offers that high quality yet very personable service one usually gets from a boutique accommodation. From the warm welcome to the excellent homemade breakfast to the ultra clean rooms and comfy bedding, one cannot ask for anything else except perhaps to book an additional night to enjoy more what this gem of a guest house can give. Location is an 8-10 minute walk from the train station. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again if returning to Pörtschach.”
