“Everyone is so compassionate and caring! My 13 year old Doberman was not eating, had vomited a few times, and seemed sad overall. This seemed to have been brought on all of a sudden. Dr. Roth found stomach x-rays and bloodwork to be normal, so we decided to treat her with medication to fight a stomach bug. Two days later, we noticed that her right anal gland had ruptured and drained blood tinged pus. Instead of her feeling worse, she began to perk up. After another visit, we began to realize her symptoms were most likely the cause of an abscess in her anal gland. Once we began an antibacterial med, she started back on her regular routine, and the wound began to close up almost immediately after it finished draining out the bad stuff a few days later. Because of Dr. Roth's quick actions to start antibiotics, she is still with us today, continuing to enjoy everyday strolls through the yard alongside our cat, turkeys, and chickens. She loves helping me herd them into their coop in the evenings, wagging her tail the entire time. I think this gives her purpose, while she gives me purpose and continuous smiles each and every day!
