“Hired Loyalty Entertainment for our October wedding, and they were worth every penny! We did the Loyalty Legend package along with dance lessons for our first dance, and we got Ryan Mitchell (DJ 007, Legend DJ) for both the roles of dance instructor and DJ for reception. Ryan works with professionalism and warmth, and he did an incredible job of taking two mildly-coordinated young adults and choreographing a beautiful first dance for them! We had no prior dance experience, but he taught us to waltz quite well over the course of two months of weekly dance lessons. He does well with explaining timing, movements, and he provides examples to help build up muscle memory. As for his role as DJ, he truly nailed it. He knows how to work a crowd, and he can read the energy of a room flawlessly. My family and friends already like to party, but wow was this the event of the century! (We also got a list minute deal for a photo booth, and it was a hit!) Loyalty as a whole is professional and easy to work with, and we're so grateful to have had Ryan Mitchell (DJ 007) as our dance instructor and DJ! He made the day truly special!”

“This vineyard is so beautiful! Although we came on a cold rainy day, we enjoyed the wine tasting, the food trucks, grape stomping, safari tour and watching a Polo match for the first time! We will definitely be back for the Hot Air Balloon ride as it was rescheduled due to the rainy weather. Overall, a great experience! The views, the animals, and the food was delicious. Everyone working was very friendly and welcoming! We received updates daily about the event and they were very communicative on the air balloons being contingent on the weather. The parking could’ve been better as a VIP then again it is in the beautiful countryside, but overall I was satisfied with the whole experience!”

Emma and her team made us feel so special and at ease throughout the entire process. We saved a fortune on decor by picking from their huge decor supply room that they offer to their couples, it has items for every style and aesthetic! I highly recommend Emma as a month of coordinator. I was able to spend the time leading up to my wedding and the day itself relaxing without having to worry about any of the details. The entire property is so beautiful from the chapel to the reception hall to the many scenic areas for photos. I truly cannot imagine any other place we would have had such a perfect day. Cannot say enough good things, we love Stillwater Meadow!!!”

“We are glad we chose to have our wedding at The Laurel. It was nice having the catering done in house. Chef Justo was incredible to work with (more on Justo and catering in a separate review). The Laurel was a beautiful space, and the team was highly competent. We always felt heard and accommodated in our meetings with our day-of coordinator, Maggie. She was also quick to reply to phone calls or emails from us with questions or concerns. And then on the actual day, she helped the whole thing run like a well-oiled machine. The venue worked with us to make our wedding as custom as we wanted, including our getaway vehicle and allowing my sweet dog to bring our rings down the aisle. My only negative was that we were considering having a completely dry wedding for family reasons, and while they were fine with that, they still required us to meet the beverage minimum, which would have been next to impossible with only juices, sodas, and water. That being said, we did still choose them for many reasons, and we did the basic beer/wine package. Another thing to note for decorating purposes is that you may not attach things to walls, rafters, or pews using command hooks, tape, staples, or anything else. All in all, we were very happy with our choice. Everything ran smoothly, and the staff are highly competent, upbeat, and pleasant to work with.”

“We couldn’t have picked a more perfect place to host a wedding. Our engaged couple wanted a Hill Country wedding, and finding The Preserve sealed the deal. The venue is absolutely beautiful and both the chapel and the reception area make for a fabulous backdrop for a special day. The grounds outside are stunning and peaceful, and the back patio setting makes for a lovely cocktail hour and provides wonderful spots for outdoor photos. The owners are very responsive and a joy to work with. On the wedding day, there were a few minor set up issues that were not The Preserve’s responsibility. I was completely frazzled, but Jordan was right there to help. He was very calm and quickly came up with easy fixes that were so appreciated. Our guests continually compliment the wedding and the venue using such words as dreamy, stunning and spectacular. Most importantly, The Preserve provided the bride and groom with their dream wedding venue and they had the time of their lives!”

I would look elsewhere where that is more responsive to their clients. I can go into further details as to why we cancelled but I will not at this time. “This is a beautiful property/facility offering wonderful services, events, and opportunities to individuals and groups. I love that they provide free services to low-income, at-risk, and marginalized communities. I did an equestrian trail ride with Black Women Who and it was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. The horses appeared to be well groomed, well fed, and well loved. The lady who helped us with paperwork/waivers and our trail guide were patient, kind, and helpful. The ride itself was serene, relaxing, and even a little empowering. I am grateful this place exists.”

I just want to make it clear to anyone who is in need of their services that these are the sweetest people you'll ever meet. They are very kind, and were very much including towards me. It hurt to have to leave so soon immensely, and if it was a little more of my choice than I definitely would've stayed. I figured leaving this review would at least leave things on a good note, as if I ever need to auction my stuff off, this is the place I will be going. “Rude and sarcastic guy on the phone and WAY too pricey, I asked how much the hall would cost without them providing food or DJ to hopefully bring the price down from $5500, and when i asked this he asked me “what kind of party is that” after explaining i have planned and helped plan many parties before, i was planning on providing food from a catering company & i know plenty of DJs, he said “this is your first time doing this right?” Extremely unhelpful and wayy too pricey.”
