“Today I got a belly button piercing with Jess S, as soon as I walked in I was greeted with warm arms by the lady at the front desk (didn't get her name) She proceeded to guide me about signing a form online for my piercing. A friend came in with me and was in the room while I was getting my belly done. Jess was so calming, kind, and supportive as I was nervous to get it done, she let my friend hold my hand and counted me down, after the piercing I felt a bit dizzy (I did eat was just nerves) so they gave me some water and a lollipop. The service was absolutely amazing as they cared for me so well and couldn't thank them enough for an experience and an awesome new piercing :)”

“Posting for the second time as my review has somehow disappeared or been removed. I had an awful experience at Essential Beauty Joondalup and was left incredibly upset. I went with my almost 6 yo to get her ears pierced for her birthday. We were both looking forward to it, and were hoping it was going to be a special day for us. We chose to have both ears pierced at the same time which is a service you pay extra for. One of the girls marked both ears with a pen and checked with me if I was happy with the positioning before they went ahead and pierced them. Once I agreed, two girls pierced my daughter's ears at the same time. When I looked at them, I noticed that one piercing had been done completely wrong and was well above the pen mark. I was shocked and very upset, and so was my daughter. What's worse is that the girl that did it blamed my daughter, repeatedly saying to her that she must have moved. I was right there and I can guarantee that my child did NOT move! We then agreed that they would do it again to fix it which of course took a fair bit of convincing because my poor little one did not want to get her ear pierced again. The same girl that got it wrong the first time did it (and I'm now kicking myself for not having asked the other girl to do it), and much to my disbelief she missed the spot AGAIN!!! She looked at it and said it was now right on the dot, but it is not! I mean just look at the attached picture!! At that point we left without saying anything because by then I was too angry, shocked and upset, and obviously wasn't going to put my daughter through it a third time. As I mentioned, I paid more to have both ears done at the same time and no compensation or refund was offered despite my daughter had to get one ear done twice for their own mistake. In fact, we weren't even given an apology. Unfortunately, what was supposed to be a special mother & daughter day turned into an awful experience which has left me really upset. I would NOT recommend this place and I wish I had gone elsewhere. Update: it’s been over 3 weeks since they said a manager would be in touch, but no one has called me. What a joke!”

“Never written a review however due to the mixed reviews I was very hesitant to get 4 ear piercings at this location in one sitting. Safe to say I had a great experience. Piercer was knowledgeable, hygienic, hospitable, careful and was able to give experienced piercing recommendations. Hope the next few weeks go smooth however no complaints with the service. Kudos to them.”
