(excuse my bad photography skills, they looked much better in real life) We visited two days ago and the staff was really nice and helpful even though we do not speak Italian. He showed us the size of the L/XL slices to help us make the perfect decision. We had them takeaway but they were still really tasty 20mins later. The slices were full of ham and cheese and were HUGE!”

“UPDATE: the restaurant is open again, and it is even better! South Italian restaurant that serves pizza and meat plates (you will not find pasta here!). Overall the dishes were well made. We particularly liked the tagliata and the meatballs. The pizza was quite good as well. The service was very friendly and the prices good; very good value for money. It is highly advisable to book in advance, especially for busy days.”

“Very good food, friendly and fast service. The waiters speak some English, but it's good enough to serve us. We usually ate in groups up to 10 people, and only once there wasn't a big table for us, so we had to split into 2 groups. Other than that, every other time, we ate together. Below there are pictures of 2 dishes, Gnocchi and cous cous with curry sauce.”

“I will remember this place for a long, long time. I was lucky enough to visit twice while in town for business. It’s the best kind of restaurant—secluded, comfortable, kind staff, incredible local food. The pizza, for example, is both inventive and traditional in its excellent execution. Gnocchi, carpaccio, tartare, all amazing. The tiramisu—please bury me in the tiramisu. Hopefully I can return some day. Truly exceptional. Filled with people enjoying themselves. I highly recommend Sottorete as well, especially if you are visiting and want to have a little dinner after a pádel lesson.”

“Before issuing an opinion on how I ate I would like to talk about who runs the place. I went there twice recently for a birthday with a team of rowdy 16 year olds. The owner and the spectacular guys always with a smile, always friendly and never annoyed. The first time we went we ate very tasty and good starters, refined and top quality first courses, but the meat... I have no adjectives. To finish the desserts, I recommend the pasticciotto with ice cream. I forgot everything was homemade, very fresh pasta because it wasn't pre-cooked. Then with the team I tried the pizzeria. Very very good. Round pizza that you can choose between different types of pizza and dough. If I really have to find a negative point, it's the position that doesn't fully satisfy me, but you can't always have everything in life. I will definitely go back. SUPER RECOMMENDED”

Recommended wine by the waiter was very good. 10/10, 5/5 whatever you name it. Waiter that served us (unfortunately did not asked his name) was excellent. On top of that - price and quality ratio is off the charts. Absolutely worth money and time.”

“Very good Italian Pizzeria ristorante! Have it the way the Italians do, one whole pizza by yourself! The taste is awesome and the service is very good too. Like almost all European restaurant, the place is pretty small with limited tables and tight spaces, but this means a more cosy place to dine and chit chat. The inside of the shop, for some reason, does not have any 4G network connections, so if you like to show videos or photos online, be prepared to be disappointed. Though, do not let such a small matter to limit your choice of great Italian cuisine!”
