“After 3 night stay in Palermo my wife and I decided to try here on our last night. The place was packed when we arrived at 8pm, very busy. We took a chance and asked if we could have a table which they were very obliging. The food I could not fault, delicious and the service was excellent. There was a queue outside as we left which shows its very popular with the locals.”

We arrived by mistake to their take away place and they guided us to the restaurant so we can have a rightfully late dinner! Thanks for the experience thanks for a great taste!”

“Always excellent. Great value. Good food. Nice staff. They have a bread shop, a bar, cakes, a self service cafeteria at lunch time, a pizzeria upstairs in the evenings and a great supermarket round the corner. Arrive at midday for lunch so you have the best selection of the hot fresh food on offer for lunch. Lunch was €10 for a main, 5 vegetables and water. Dinner was €10 for a pizza, patatine fritte, a drink and Coperto.”

“I used to go when I was child and came back here after 25 years! I always struggle to find a good pizza in Palermo and this place offers one of the best pizzas around! Good dough good ingredients. The place has a rustic informal look, staff is friendly. We visited in a Monday evening and the place was quiet but not empty. Pizzas arrived soon but desserts took a while. We had 3 children under 4 and there was enough space for them to walk (Monday evening). Highly recommended!”

“I visited Oleum Ortigia on a crisp evening in November 2023. I was seated immediately, very friendly and inviting staff. They have the tastiest potato appetizer on the menu - salty, oily with the right amount of onions. I highly recommend this appetizer. The pizza was fantastic as well. Please drizzle the various olive oil variants (provided at the table) generously on all the food items.”

“The best pizza I ever had so far! Highly recommend this place. Came there 20 mins before the closure and personnel was very friendly, we stayed much longer than the working hours. “Thomas, the owner of See You, can't do enough to make sure that your stay with him and his team is relaxing and enjoyable. Carlo, the chef, certainly knows what he is doing in the kitchen and nothing is too much to ask. So, the food is great but the company is relaxing and enjoyable. I highly recommend See You. They are all very polite, professional, and efficient.”

“First they mess up my order and bring me the wrong pizza, then they make me a 1mm thin pizzabottom, almost ransparent, at parts raw (!) pizza in 6 minutes. Taste was good, the waiter was also friendly and apologised for the mistake, thus 2 stars. Morning after eating though I have food poisoning, diarrhea, vomiting etc into the night as well. For some reason this place was recommended by local friends but I can't agree.”

“We came here because a local suggested it.We didn't enjoy our night out for the following reasons: 1( service was very slow (We have been waiting for half an hour till someone finally came to take an order). 2) Aci reale salad was not good (chicken was burned and had a bad taste)so we had to return it. 3)we ordered Spagetti alle vongole e cozzed but the Mussles we over cooked 3) Polletto Panini was not good either Chicken was difficult to chew! All in all it was nt a pleasant expwrience. Maybe Saturday is not the best day to visit them”

“I arrived at 18.40 and he told me the "restaurant" will serve me at 19.00 pm. I said... ok... cannot be earlier? No, at 7 PM. I told my kids, "Let's wait 15 min, and the pizza will be ready." At 7.10, the pizza man said... "bon lavoro" and started to make the pizza. It is 19.20, and the pizza is not ready.”
