“We came for the amazing terrace next to the water. We started with the pet nat bottle which was excellent and refreshing on a warm summer day. We had dinner set for 42 euros. This includes an appetizer, entree, and dessert. My friend and I shared everything so we could try the menu. Appetizers Steak tartare - quail egg, mustard, shallot - this was very average and not seasoned well. Sea bass carpaccio - grapefruit gremolata - very unbalanced dish, wasn’t a fan of the texture of the sea bass Mains Rump steak - over cooked and dry :( Catch of the day - salmon - I’ve never seen salmon as the catch of the day lol. It was so basic - the most edible dish of the night Dessert K25 chicka our cake - kaffir like ice cream - I enjoyed this dessert too. But can you really mess up chocolate ? Strawberry - balsamic, basil yogurt ice cream - literally chopped up strawberries with a dap of basil ice cream. So basic and not worth it Overall, the vibes and the service were impeccable. Come for drinks but I would not recommend the food - especially for this price point.”

“The food was outstanding - light and richly flavourful at the same time, pizza prepared fresh in front of your eyes and the pasta left you craving more but the serving size was perfectly filling. The staff were not particularly warm or welcoming and forgot one of our dishes which I suppose is likely to happen when they don’t write down orders. If you can’t book online, maybe try calling as the restaurant appeared fully booked online for the whole evening and we could only get a spot at 5pm however the restaurant was half empty until we left at 7.30. A bit expensive but nice for a special occasion.”

“An absolutely amazing experience! The service was super friendly and attentive, able to explain the menu in English and also recommended dishes by our preferences. The seating inside was fully booked so I recommend making a reservation or come early (ish). At about 5 pm there were still places available outside by the water which added to a nice, chilled and romantic atmosphere❤️ We didnt have to wait too long for our meals and MY! The food was absolutely amazing! Professionally executed on the plates, the bruschetta had the softest bread dough I have ever had! The meatballs were a great experience and very tasty! The pizza was amazing-highly recommended! 🍕If you want a bit of Italy in the centre if Alkmaar, go for it! 😎”
