“Overall this is quite a good artisan pizza spot - chewy crust, great flavors/toppings, and fun cocktails. The food came out unbelievably fast - but it took a long time to get the server's attention because we sat by the door and they didn't see us. We had to go ask the hostess to get the server after waiting about 20 minutes. This is the reason for the 2/5 stars for atmosphere and 1 star removed from overall rating. The calamari was my favorite appetizer - light and perfectly fried. We enjoyed the meatballs - tender and well sauced. We went as a 6 person group and tried 5 pizzas and loved them all, especially the almondine one. That was fantastic and unique. The crusts were perfect but the middles were a little soggy so that could be improved. The salads were all fresh and delicious though on the sweeter side. The cocktails were interesting and fun and I'd go again to try a few others! I'd recommend this for an upscale sit-down pizza spot with some variety. We did not have the pasta so we cannot comment on it but we'll be back to try it! Lastly, the desserts were excellent. We got the tiramisu and the chocolate cake and they were decadent and perfect. We'd come back just for them. The tiramisu was so fluffy and light. Oof!”

“This is just a burger and pizza place. Everything else is like a Bickfords in that most everything is frozen and not fresh. We were a party of four on a Saturday night. The kitchen was very much behind on everything, and our hostess did keep us updated, which was helpful. The salmon and meatloaf steak tips were overly cooked and not edible. The manager comped some of our food, which we thank him for. The deserts would be a 2.5. I gave them a 3 for atmosphere, and it wasn't their fault, but they could have said something to the parents that allowed their kids to run around like it was Chucky Cheese. Why parents can't control their kids makes for a very uncomfortable evening. We prayed that nobody would get hurt as the kids were funny up and down the aisles where people and staff were moving hot food. So, if we ever go there again, it will be just a hamburger or a pizza and drinks. Responding to your reply: When you respond using personal attacks, that certainly tells me about your character. Had you responded professionally, I would have removed my review, and the fact that you mentioned my friend's name on a public forum shows that you sir should never be in a manager's role. That was unprofessional and out of line. My friend thought the wings were okay, but he ordered medium-rare steak tips, which were well done. He is not one to complain, so he didn't say anything to you about it. I did say in my review that you comped us, which was much appreciated, and that our server kept us up to date on what was happening in the kitchen. She was very kind and pleasant too. We gave her a 25% tip from the total amount before you comp'd portions of our meal. My review was about the food and quality (or lack thereof). There are just some things that you need to prepare better. You should take the salmon off your menu. Lastly, I have been in retail management for over 30 years, and I have responded to many good and bad reviews. However, I have never lowered myself to the level that you have by posting such a hateful and damaging response. If one of my managers had responded as you did, I would have either suspended him, written him up, or even fired him. I am sure that the owners of the Brickyard would have had you respond with empathy rather than in an immature and defensive way. Remember that everything that you do is a reflection of the whole business.”

“That was some awesome food! The Pizza was in point. You actually feel light eating them. So was the Salads. Which were quite simple and elegant and tasteful. The service was wonderful as well! The 10 inch Pizza would be perfect for an individual and you can of course split a salad as the cherry on top. Highly recommend.”

“I ordered a pepperoni calzone and it was 1% calzone and 99% pepperoni. And it was absolutely drenched in oil. It soaked through the box. The ingredients themselves seemed good enough but the proportions of ingredients made the whole thing inedible.”

“I’ve lived many places and have done so while suffering from pizza snob syndrome. I search high and low for good pizza with mixed results. From the age of 3 and 30+ years later I occasionally stop back by because it just doesn’t get better than this. What makes someone fly cross country for pizza? The crust is just right and the sauce delicious. Cheese perfectly melted, and the toppings are of quality. Just the right amount of grease… not too much nor too dry. The place looks the same as it did 30 years ago and the love they show the community hasn’t waned a bit.”

“Great location near a shopping center, free parking lot. Quick and professional service. The prices are comparable to Bertucci's, or a bit higher, but the quality is quite lower. The interior decor is not so pleasant or inviting. They do not serve free bread rolls. It seems they specialize in pizza but no options for pasta, calzone etc. And the pizza is thin, with the crust burnt. Overall- okay, average.”
