Driftwood Oven
4.7
( 8 reviews ) $$
Closed until 09:00 AM

3615 Butler St, Pittsburgh, PA 15201, United States

“Best pizza in town. A little pricey but worth it, especially for just a couple slices at lunch. They are also secretly(?) making the best Italian sandwich in Pittsburgh. I try to get in early on Saturday mornings for the rotating cruffin flavor too 😌”

Iron Born Pizza & Pasta

1806 Smallman St, Pittsburgh, PA 15222, United States

“This was our first visit here and it sure was a treat to find this place! The staff was very friendly and accommodating...Shout out to the hostess Bella, not only was she gracious and informative about the restaurant, but said it would be a 10 minute wait and she was spot on! As we walked in, the aroma of an Italian kitchen had us set on getting a couple of pizzas! We ordered the Chicken, Bacon and Broccoli Ranch Pie...which was over the top fantastic and also a vegan style pizza called Humble Pie. Wasn't sure how that second one was going to taste but let me tell you it was out of this world! The unique style of a square pizza gave us a crispy crust on all sides and it was just delicious!! Can't wait to visit again, as their menu is packed with all kinds of yummy items! I can see why Iron Born Pizza has won so many awards!! Kudos to the chef and they're wonderful staff!! You have to give this restaurant a try, it won't disappoint!!”

Mineo's Pizza House
4.4
( 8 reviews )

713 Washington Rd A, Mt Lebanon, PA 15228, United States

“I grew up eating Mineos in 90s going to Washington and Mellon School but haven't had it since 2010 until a few days ago. The decor, layout and design are identical to when I went regularly and pizza tasted exactly the same but bit more expensive at 2.25 rather than the 90-1.25 cent slices when I ate it a lot. It's perfectly average greasy pizza that hits the spot any time in a convenient location and seemingly has the exact same staff from 30 years ago putting their passion into it. Reminds me of 2.99 two slices and drink in Times Square New York City.”

Donte's Pizzeria
4.5
( 8 reviews )

6409 Brownsville Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15236, United States

“There are a lot of pizzerias in Pittsburgh and surrounding areas but Donte’s far exceeds just another pizza shop! The dough is delicious to start with- the sauce is seasoned perfectly with generous cheese and toppings! Love being able to walk in for a quick couple of slices with free drink refills. Atmosphere is cozy and friendly. Prices are reasonable. Wish them great success.”

Center Avenue Slice
4.4
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 11:00 AM

332 Center Ave, West View, PA 15229, United States

“My favorite classic pizza shop of the North Hills. Honestly some of the best pizza around. Service is very good, and I've tried many things from the menu. Favorites are: Steak Calzone Wings with Wing Dust! Pepperoni Pizza is a family classic. Out of everything I've ordered nothing has disappointed me thus far. Really cool indoor vibe as well with classic red paint, and West View memorabilia.”

1105 Bower Hill Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15243, United States

“Great pizza, great price! We have been looking for a new spot in the area for a while. Got a flyer in the mail and decided to give it a try. Absolutely love it. The pizza and bread sticks are amazing. Our new pizza place.”

Messina's Pizza & Restaurant

Closed until 11:00 AM

4992 Middle Rd, Allison Park, PA 15101, United States

“Food was very good. My mom got the eggplant parm dinner for $8.99, came with bread sticks and salad. Great prices. I got Sicilian pizza. Yummy! They make their own crust. Great price on that also. Small dine in area. Owners are sooo nice!! Great for take out also.”

Jo-lynn Pizza
4.3
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 01:00 PM

3116 Liberty Way, Liberty, PA 15133, United States

“This pains me to write this, but I hope Jo Lynn's sees this for improvement. I ordered food from here for the first time since the fire happened, and sadly it was really poor. I got an order of french fries, and a large white pizza. The french fries were inedible. Totally soggy, bitter, and no salt on them at all. Then the pizza had the worst crust I've ever had from a take out place. It was very dense and bread like. There was almost no color to it, and no crisp whatsoever. The white sauce tasted like something I get in a jar from the grocery store, and the tomatoes were just mush. Jo Lynn's was my favorite pizza place before the fire, me and my family ordered from there on a weekly basis, but now it's horribly disappointing, and I hope they can fix the issues in the future.”

Pizzeria Davide
4.1
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 11:00 AM

2551 Penn Ave Rear, Pittsburgh, PA 15222, United States

“This is strictly a takeout restaurant, but they do offer outdoor picnic tables for outdoor seating. I visited on a Friday night and was pleasantly surprised to find a drink cart outside with a small selection of alcoholic beverages; I'm unsure if it's a regular feature. The option to order pizza by the slice made for a quick 5-minute wait, as there was a continuous stream of takeout orders, many of which were pre-orders. The pizza itself exceeded expectations, with a sauce that leaned towards the rich taste of tomato paste, abundant crumbled cheese, and a robust garlic flavor that I found delightful. The underside was perfectly cooked, although the dough had a slightly dry texture and a touch too much flour remaining, but overall, I was satisfied. This quality slice of pizza was also very reasonably priced.”
