131 Plumstead Rd, London SE18 7DW, United Kingdom

“MAA SHAA ALLAH such a great mosque and very clean, parking space can be tricky but you can find the paid parking as well. Certainly! Mosques are places of worship for Muslims. They are typically known for their distinctive architecture, including minarets and domes. Inside, you’ll find a prayer hall where Muslims gather for daily prayers, and the Qiblah wall, which indicates the direction of Mecca, is an essential focal point. Mosques often play a central role in the spiritual and communal life of Muslim communities, serving not only as places of worship but also as centers for education and social gatherings. Big space for worship and you can feel the positivity and mindfulness. Management done a really good job thanks for keeping it to updated. JazakAllah Khair”

“I visited the LDS temple while in Godstone. It was raining that day but nevertheless was a must see. The gardens are beautiful. The building is really striking and you can walk around it and have picnics on the grounds. The visitor centre was really interesting and the people friendly. Great day if you just want some peace, or equally for a wholesome day with the family. I’ll definitely be going back.”

“A beautiful abbey. Spiritual home of Christianity in Scotland, and site of the first monastery founded by St Columba. It is a deeply spiritual place, and its isolation adds to its atmosphere. Come as you are, but be prepared to leave as someone else.”

“We came here yesterday and we really enjoyed our time at the beach. The water was quite calm when we came in but it started to get a bit more wavier. They have 2 beaches one is dog friendly which is great. The beach is guarded so you will feel safe. The beach is a combination of sand and small rocks. This is a surfers go to place. Nice clean bluish water. There is also a small are to trek so you can have the best of both.”

Solomon’s Temple

( 16 reviews )

Poole's Cavern visitor centre, Buxton SK17 9DH, United Kingdom

“If you're considering visiting Solomon's Temple after walking around Poole's Cavern, do it! There are three walking routes through and up woodland before crossing an old site of industry, which in itself was interesting. The views from the top of the folly are very good, and even when the weather draws in as it did on our visit, the area is extraordinarily atmospheric.”

St Mary's Rc Church ( The Hidden Gem )

“What an absolute gem of a church, couldn't take photos inside though because of the blessed sacrament, but hopefully next time it's absolutely beautiful inside, there are lovely things to buy too, and toilets! The only thing I didn't really like we're the modern paintings on the wall. Well worth a visit, whether you are Catholic or not.”

St Paul’s Church Covent Garden
4.6
( 10 reviews )
Open until 05:30 PM

Bedford St, London WC2E 9ED, United Kingdom

“Went to experience the musicals by candlelight. The Church is an oasis in the busy heart of the Covent Garden. The intimate setting is perfect for a small musical event like this. There is no fancy techs to enhance the effects but this is how you get to really listen to the music itself. And they played beautifully even during the pop music section. There is a small bar at the back but they don't have non alcoholic drinks, except soft drinks.”

Al Manaar | The Muslim Cultural Heritage Centre
4.8
( 10 reviews )

244 Acklam Rd, London W10 5YG, United Kingdom

“The mosque is truly a sight to behold, with its captivating beauty evident in both its interior and exterior. The ground floor is adorned with exquisite decorations, and the new, pristine carpets provide a soft and inviting space for prayer. It's a pleasure to kneel and pray on them. However, when it comes to the first floor, while it maintains a level of cleanliness, there is room for improvement. The surface can be a bit challenging for prayers, especially during the bustling Friday congregations when the mosque is packed to capacity. Additionally, the mosque's location is somewhat unusual, given its proximity to the motorway. Despite this, it exudes an aura of serenity and spirituality that envelops all who visit. It truly is a peaceful and soulful place of worship.”

Metropolitan Tabernacle
4.8
( 8 reviews )

A3, Elephant and Castle, London SE1 6SD, United Kingdom

“I love the Lord. I enjoy going to church when in any country. Today is Christmas, and what better way than celebrate Jesus's birth than to go to church. I enjoyed the service, singing, and message. They get a 5 star because the message was about the Lord and salvation. Enjoy life and love the one and only God.”
