“Spent the weekend at the nearby La Jarnoise and was recommended to come to the Abbey from a friend who said the monks make fabulous cheeses. And God must certainly be smiling down on the cows of this place, because its been 9 days and I can't stop thinking of these cheeses! Get the sampler box from the gift shop, you won't be disappointed! The church itself was a bit dull and you can't actually go through the vast Abbey grounds, but go down the path that continues past the church to get a beautiful view of the Monestary from the river below. If you continue on, there's a really lovely 1hr hike that takes you around (follow the fence). We actually came back the following day to hike the path along the gorge and it was amazing.”

“My review here is re : my visit to the Holy Chapel where the incorruptible body of St Bernadette Soubirous lies. The entire place is reasonably big although the Chapel itself is not huge. A souvenir shop can be found here. A very small museum exhibits things associated with St Bernadette. The chapel is opened at specific timings as per the attached picture. The little cafe here has a vending machine for coffee. I did not try it. The campus also has a grotto.”

“Very bright neo-classical Catholic church in the 7th arrondissement. The main nave is high and wide, and the two parallel side naves are narrow and (I think) a bit lower. There is also a modern, rather large chapel added on the backside of the main altar with its own eastern end altar. I am not exactly sure why this chapel was added. The New Year's Day service was simple, with several organ accompanied community hymns, and it was well attended.”
