“I truly love to see the temple! You have to have a Temple Recommend and be a member in good standing to enter the building, but anyone can walk the grounds. They're incredibly peaceful, and a great place for some quiet reflection and contemplation”

( 16 reviews )

1000 Valley Crest Dr, El Paso, TX 79907, United States

“I attended services at this church on October 15, 2023. I had the privilege of enjoying a sermon by Shannon Nieman. I really enjoyed her teaching style as considering my religious background is not nondenominational. Her message was so great that I took notes. The worship service was great as well, and it is the first time that I’ve been to a church of this size.”

Hindu Temple Of San Antonio

( 8 reviews )
Closed until 09:00 AM

18518 Bandera Rd, Helotes, TX 78023, United States

“It is located in a very beautiful place. The atmosphere was good and felt very pilgrimage. Annadhanam was really nice. However, it doesn't make it comfortable as a unique place. Something feels like private property. Temple is the place for stress relief and meditation. 1. Need a little bit of attention to all people. 2. Not only for the people who visit frequently, there are people who travel long distances to just feel home. Regardless, this place must visit in sanantonio.”

Saint Patrick Cathedral
4.8
( 8 reviews )

1206 Throckmorton St, Fort Worth, TX 76102, United States

“This cathedral is located in the heart of downtown Fort Worth, across from the Convention Center. I found out that this Gothic stylef structure was dedicated in 1892 and has been continuously used ever since. When i sat on the cushioned seats before mass, i could not help but become mesmerized by the magnificent altar, vailted ceilng and statues in the back with lighted votive candles. It is what i have envisioned what a cathedral church would be. I did not want to leave but honestly, i was able to quiet my worldly minded self and just able to contemplate a peaceful experience, even for just a few minutes.”

“Upon relocating to the vibrant city of Austin, Texas, my family and I embarked on a quest to find the ideal spiritual home. We understood the importance of finding a church that not only aligned with our beliefs but also provided a welcoming and nurturing community. Our journey led us to visit approximately ten different churches, each offering its own unique atmosphere and teachings. While these initial visits were informative and introduced us to various facets of Austin's diverse religious landscape, none of them truly resonated with us. We found ourselves searching for that intangible connection, a place where we could wholeheartedly invest our faith and feel a genuine sense of belonging. It was during this exploration that we stumbled upon Celebration Church—a discovery that would alter the course of our spiritual journey in Austin. From the very moment we stepped through its doors, there was an unmistakable feeling of warmth and inclusivity. The congregation's genuine hospitality and the palpable sense of community made us feel like we had found a family away from home. Celebration Church didn't just offer religious services; it provided a comprehensive and enriching spiritual experience. The sermons were thought-provoking and relevant, providing guidance and inspiration for our daily lives. The church's commitment to outreach and community involvement resonated with our values, allowing us to actively contribute to causes we held dear. One of the most compelling aspects of Celebration Church was its dedication to fostering personal growth and relationships. Through small groups and various ministries, we had the opportunity to connect with fellow members on a deeper level, forming lasting friendships that extended beyond the sanctuary. In retrospect, our search for the perfect church concluded the moment we set foot in Celebration Church. It was a place where our faith found roots, our spirits were uplifted, and our family felt at home. The welcoming congregation, inspiring sermons, and strong sense of community combined to create an environment that nurtured our faith and enriched our lives. Thus, without hesitation, we can confidently award Celebration Church a resounding 5/5. It's not just a place of worship; it's a spiritual haven that has become an integral part of our lives in Austin, Texas. In our faith journey, we have discovered not only a church but a true home.”

St Cyril Of Alexandria Catholic Church
4.7
( 8 reviews )
Open until 06:00 PM

10503 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77042, United States

“It's weird that people don't seem enthused about the opportunity of providing the Eucharist to the laity. I feel like the commonplace restriction of Christ the Servant to the Diaconate almost justifies the nonsensical Synod on Synodality. The RCIA program is straightforward and I'm learning a bit. The homilies at Mass are generally pretty entertaining. And the cat that's in the courtyard is a girl named Tiger. She's had kittens before but they were taking up by members of the church so she mostly hangs around getting petted all the time.”

Buddhist Temple Of Dallas

“Temple is peaceful and well decorated. They have Thai food market on Sundays! Parking is available around the temple if you are lucky. It gets very crowded. Food is amazing and very reasonably priced! My sweet favorites were mango sticky rice and sesame balls. Must visit!!”

Eagle Mountain International Church

“It is only natural, and always have been that the smarter, less scrupulous people take advantage of the more generous and naive people, take advantage of their time and money.. And I insist it is natural, because those who let others take advantage of them also are compelled to find they are not guiltily for their own faults, and lacks, however big they are, and once they are brave enough to see for themselves whichever reason they had to go on with such behavior, they can then free themselves and help others also free themselves. If You are brave enough to investigate with a critical eye, with an eye that sees the things for what they are, and see what this Kenneth man really does, WHAT HE REALLY DOES, you will get to see what everyone else behind him is doing as well, and you will have no will whatsoever to follow this man anymore, and will become awake and compelled to keep being critical of others and not follow anyone,(as well as a deeper understanding of who Jesus was and what his teachings where) this, slowly leads to the connection with the higher, that will just feel like courage that will allow you to correct the ones that you are close with, not to be ugly with you, or to leave them behind without remorse. The power that comes from understanding what there is, helps one see where your own power is, and this makes one's Mission clearer and clearer. Understanding comes from within, needs one to be truly humble, selfless, and needs effort, only when you make smalls steps forward, you will be able to make more steps, but it needs a work that is continuous and asks to be willing to leave behind everything that is not necessary (the path is narrow) Godspeed”
