“The Word of God is preached and encouraged to be the foundation and cornerstone in our lives. Pastor Ed is a gifted teacher who truly loves Gods’ word. From Pastors like Ed T. and Josh S. To the greeters everyone at Calvary is truly loving, inviting and seeking Gods’ face. I can’t say enough from a new believer to a seasoned saint, I promise if you want to know and understand Gods word and promises come listen I did 3 years ago and never left. Thank You to all who serve at Calvary you are the difference..”

“I have been attending for years until Pastor Al preached a fire and brimstone sermon… teaching regarding false teachers which was fine- however he made fun of non Christians and Christians by mocking them. I find it impossible to fathom that God led this sermon. You seemed as if perhaps YOU were the false teacher . I had brought a visitor to this service. Pastor Al- how inappropriate of you- I will be finding another church home.”

St. Joan Of Arc Catholic Church

“Went to a funeral held at this church today. Was not expecting to hear the guy in the shiny holy gown crack jokes about “how bad” the deceased looked in the casket. Imagine losing your mother/wife unexpectedly and then imagine having to sit through a mass where the man on stage is being that disrespectful. It was truly painful to witness. I feel really bad for the family that they had to sit through that on what was already one of the hardest days of their lives. Speaking directly to that man: Sir I hope you know that what you said was way out of line and I hope someone told you so to your face. To me, it seemed like someone probably did and I just want you to know that your excuse about knowing that its hard to be told/told off was not good enough. It wasn’t that you were telling people off, it was that you said something extremely insensitive and rude. None of your “jokes” were funny. None of what you said was comforting. Shame on you.”

“Really beautiful church. Very friendly people. Music by the Cantor was excellent. I enjoyed the sermon which I was actually surprised by. Convenient in Old Town.”
