“MAA SHAA ALLAH such a great mosque and very clean, parking space can be tricky but you can find the paid parking as well. Certainly! Mosques are places of worship for Muslims. They are typically known for their distinctive architecture, including minarets and domes. Inside, you’ll find a prayer hall where Muslims gather for daily prayers, and the Qiblah wall, which indicates the direction of Mecca, is an essential focal point. Mosques often play a central role in the spiritual and communal life of Muslim communities, serving not only as places of worship but also as centers for education and social gatherings. Big space for worship and you can feel the positivity and mindfulness. Management done a really good job thanks for keeping it to updated. JazakAllah Khair”

“Went to experience the musicals by candlelight. The Church is an oasis in the busy heart of the Covent Garden. The intimate setting is perfect for a small musical event like this. There is no fancy techs to enhance the effects but this is how you get to really listen to the music itself. And they played beautifully even during the pop music section. There is a small bar at the back but they don't have non alcoholic drinks, except soft drinks.”

“જય જયરામ બાપા "Jay jalaram bapa". Very peaceful place for mind, relaxation, and peace. Just sit and relax and enjoy the lovely bajhan and arti they do in morning and evening. I like it when they get live bajhan it's totally different, out of mind, feeling the blessings. They do live Telecast aswell so you can watch at home or on your mobile 📱 😉. They also provide MahaPrasad and its delicious food, and prasad is always good because its a blessing. I highly recommend you to all visit the place and have a blessed day.”

Al Manaar | The Muslim Cultural Heritage Centre
4.8
( 10 reviews )

244 Acklam Rd, London W10 5YG, United Kingdom

“The mosque is truly a sight to behold, with its captivating beauty evident in both its interior and exterior. The ground floor is adorned with exquisite decorations, and the new, pristine carpets provide a soft and inviting space for prayer. It's a pleasure to kneel and pray on them. However, when it comes to the first floor, while it maintains a level of cleanliness, there is room for improvement. The surface can be a bit challenging for prayers, especially during the bustling Friday congregations when the mosque is packed to capacity. Additionally, the mosque's location is somewhat unusual, given its proximity to the motorway. Despite this, it exudes an aura of serenity and spirituality that envelops all who visit. It truly is a peaceful and soulful place of worship.”

“I love the Lord. I enjoy going to church when in any country. Today is Christmas, and what better way than celebrate Jesus's birth than to go to church. I enjoyed the service, singing, and message. They get a 5 star because the message was about the Lord and salvation. Enjoy life and love the one and only God.”

St Mary's Catholic Church, West Croydon
4.7
( 9 reviews )
Open until 07:00 PM

St. Mary's Church, 70 Wellesley Rd, Croydon CR0 2AR, United Kingdom

“It's a simple-looking Church from the outside with weathered stonework but is actually very nice looking on the inside, and also very peaceful. But down point is that it's in a rotten part of Croydon (full of mad and deranged people) which may put some people off from going there especially if you have to use the train station or West Croydon bus station...as the council have let west croydon go downhill.”

All Souls Langham Place

All Souls C of E Church, 2 All Souls' Pl, London W1B 3DA, United Kingdom

“This is a beautiful church right next door to the BBC. The architect was John Nash, The Prince Regent's architect. Nash was responsible for the majestic sweeping curve design of Regent's Street along with Regent's Park and The Royal Pavilion Brighton. Outside the church is a bust of this remarkable architect, so when you're next in the West End, go and have a look at the face of the man responsible for the beauty of Regent's Street. Nearest Tube- Oxford Circus”

St Mary Abbots Church
4.7
( 16 reviews )

Kensington Church St, London W8 4LA, United Kingdom

“St Mary Abbots is a massive church, ( Church of England ), and a haven of peace and quiet in busy Kensington. Lunchtime concerts by students at The Royal College of Music. Always open. The present church was designed by the architect Sir Gilbert Scott , and was finally completed around 1893 , including the south porch and the cloister. The spire is 278ft ( 84.73m ). The churchyard was closed for burials in 1853. The walls of the Church are built of London stock brick, faced externally with Kentish Ragstone, with Bath stone dressings. The earliest mention of Kensington Church ( as it was first known ) is found in a charter of 1102 , and it is very probable that there was a church here even before that date , since there is a mention of a priest at Cheniston , in the Domesday Book. The name St Mary Abbots derives from it's medieval ownership by Abingdon Abbey. The pulpit ,1697, from the old church , is said to have been the gift of William III. The two churchwardens' staves date from 1792 , with their silver crowns topped by the figure of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The brass Eagle lectern is dated 1873. Font by Farmer and Brindley, a large marble bowl with figures of the rivers of Paradise. The tall openwork cover of wrought iron was added in 1881. The south chancel chapel was remodelled as a war memorial chapel in 1920 - 1921 by Giles Gilbert Scott. The Revd Wilson Carlile was a curate at St Mary Abbots in 1880. He held open air religious meetings in Kensington High Street and Notting Hill. He resigned his curacy to devote his time to slum missions , and went on to found The Church Army . The pipe organ no longer works , a new one would befit this church. Appreciate the serenity, the architecture and the interesting memorials.”
