“This is a really great place to walk/hike and see all sorts of natural beauty. There is small parking lot, but the park does have several entrances, so you could probably park at one of those if its full. I started at the Aviary and saw four different types of birds (very cute) and got some info from one of the caretakers which was nice. The staff inside the main building were all very friendly and kind, and even allowed me to sit in last minute for a talk about one of the owls (Tilly). There are turtles, snakes, "an indoor for the winter" bird and small lizard (I think). The inside is basically a mini nature museum and would be a great place to bring children. They so have childrens events as well As for the hiking, there are several loops to hike, some easier than others but all generally mild IMO (there were lots of families with small children hiking). Despite the amount of people it was very quiet and relaxing. There is also a playground and picnic area. There are bathrooms in the main building but the ones in the playground/picnic area are closed for the season per the sign. There are no dogs, or bikes allowed on the trail. Overall an excellent experience and I'd definitely recommend checking it out.”

“Easy paved path, with some unpaved trails, through a beautiful reservation. Babbling brooks, horses (as well as horse poop), deer and birds are a common sight while hiking. Clean restrooms, picnic areas, playgrounds and bike rentals available.”

“This is hands down one of the best playgrounds I have been to. As a Dad who has traveled all over the world with my kids I am telling you, this place is really well designed and made me want to climb on stuff. I highly recommend taking your kids here. You will 100 percent play with them and they will love it. See photos to get a sense of the space.”

“I have organized three birthday parties for my children at this venue, and they have all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The assistance provided by Bianca, our host, was exceptional. She ensured that the room was beautifully decorated and that everything ran smoothly. However, when I got home, I found out that two of the gift cards were missing. I immediately contacted Sky Zone the following day, but I have been informed that the manager is currently out of the office due to the holiday, and another manager will contact me for this incident. To my surprise, I got an email that they've found them! I find this very surprising as there were over 150 children present for a school trip! (maybe more!) prior to the incident, I had inquired about the safety of leaving the cards in the cart, and to be honest, I was skeptical even when Bianca assured me that it would be safe. Well, Now I know it really is! Awesome place!”

“Great park system. I like the exercise equipment and all the connecting paths. Some of the outer paths can have more ticks than I can handle (certain times of the year). And if can get pretty soggy too. Otherwise a really amazing park. Good work NJ.”

“Full time RVer here who has visited 100+ parks in the last 3 years. First, to start off, the reviews about the office staff (who appear to be the owners) are true. While they weren’t necessarily rude to me, they are NOT hospitable people. I get it that it’s Jersey, but despite living in NC now, I was born and raised on Long Island so I can handle the attitude. They weren’t very welcoming and kinda intimidated me, which is very hard to do. The campground can be so nice if they just did some upkeep. I stayed right after 4th of July so don’t let them respond that they weren’t ready for Summer like other reviews. The place is totally overrun with weeds. Every planter, around the pool fence, inside the pool area, the playground. Weeds EVERYWHERE. And these aren’t weeds that just got skipped over in a week. These are weeds that appears they gave up maintaining the grounds years ago. Even the basketball hoop doesn’t have a net and upon close examination, it’s because the hooks are rusted out. Spend $100 and buy a new basketball goal! Another negative is the pool closes early! Anywhere from 6-7pm. My assumption is that because it’s such a deep pool that the county requires lifeguards and they don’t wanna employ lifeguards for times that aren’t very busy. Half the lifeguards just stare at their phone all day anyway. The location is great. 25 mins to the beach. Lots of close restaurants nearby and a nice bayfront park very close by. I hope the owners read this and work on their park. Be a little friendlier and more patient. Remember we are coming in from a long drive into a very new area. Don’t expect us to know all your rules and everything right off the bat. Hire a landscaper! Spend a little money on the upkeep of the park. It will go a long way.”

“I absolutely love Harmony Ridge campground. 10/10 would recommend. I never hear the words “I’m bored” from my kids while staying here. Between the pool, arcade, fishing, paddle boats, making s’mores & so much more. If you’re looking for a getaway with family this is the place to stay. PLUS- they host wonderful events throughout the year (you can check their website to see what’s scheduled) All staff are so friendly and extremely helpful on providing camping tips.”
