2073 Kempsville Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23464, United States

“This park is nice and relaxing to walk around. It's dog friendly, you can have a nice picnic here, playground for the kids, basketball area, as well as baseball fields. They have a big field for activities such as sports, playing fetch with your dog. Nice jogging area as well. I really like the path going through the trees also.”

Deep Creek Park

Closed until 06:00 AM

437 George Washington Hwy S, Chesapeake, VA 23323, United States

“Solid park to get out and stretch the legs or have a picnic. Has a nice walking trail, multiple playgrounds (one is getting an overhaul it looks like), ball fields and bathrooms throughout. Appears dog friendly with tons of room for one to run around.”

Quincy Park

1021 N Quincy St, Arlington, VA 22201, United States

“We were in the area visiting Reclining Liberty at the Museum of Contemporary Art and decided to pick up a nearby geocache and ended up at Quincy Park. What a great place! And there's parking 😁 …”

Staunton River State Park
4.7
( 8 reviews )

1170 Staunton Trail, Scottsburg, VA 24589, United States

“This place is an amazing place for a family with kids. There are several hiking trails and mountain biking trails. If you are a horseback rider, then there are several trails for horseback riding. We were there in December and it was very pretty and peaceful. We stayed there in a cabin. They have a master bedroom, and a kids room with four beds (bunk beds ). They only have one bathroom . The kitchen is really nice and spacious. Be mindful that there are a lot of mice due to the cabin being located in the woods. As long as you put away your food at night, there should not be an issue. In that trip, my most memorable moment is night time star gazing. If the visitors are low, the parks let you rent a very nice telescope during your stay. If there are many visitors, you may have to reserve the telescopes. The park was associated with the dark skies international association. During our visit, we saw our milky way galaxy . In addition, we met very nice local folks who are very knowledgeable about star gazing and universes. They even had a home made telescope which they shared with us . We saw a lot of stars, nebulas, globulars, planets, and many galaxies. It was very very nice. The sunrise and sunset was amazing. We saw many types of animals such as blue herons, robins, and there should be a white deer(we didn't see it but the rangers told us and showed us the photo). One more thing I would highly recommend visiting there with families.”

Mason District Park
4.5
( 10 reviews )
Closed until 07:30 AM

6621 Columbia Pike, Annandale, VA 22003, United States

“Amazing sledding, for kids, teens, and adults. Could benefit from a few hay-bales to mitigate hazards, but it's actually a very gentle grade that makes it unlikely beginners would build up too much speed. There is a tiny brook at the end of the runout, but not an actual problem. Plenty of parking at the top of the hill, by tennis courts & amphitheater.”

Fort Hunt Park
4.5
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 08:00 AM

8999 Fort Hunt Rd, Alexandria, VA 22308, United States

“Fort Hunt Park is amazing. It's full of history and mystery. You can walk all around and on the bunkers forts but sadly you can't go in them. Big wide open fields and many paths to play or walk your dogs. Haven't seen an off leash area for them. There's a lil playground for the lil ones and 3 bathrooms 1 at the entrance (the cleanest) 1 in the middle and one all the way in the back of the park. Both are Grose. I absolutely love this park. I always learn something new everytime I come here”

Longwood Park
4.5
( 8 reviews )

601 E Main St, Salem, VA 24153, United States

“This park is a great place for kids to play or have gatherings. The bathrooms are always clean and the area is always clean. There are BBQ areas and there are areas that are clearly for younger children. Safe place to play, most definitely.”

Get Air Trampoline Park
4.3
( 8 reviews )

1005 Gardens Blvd, Charlottesville, VA 22901, United States

“I was going to leave a review saying how gross and understaffed this place is but I'm looking at the reviews I'm hardly the first. Clearly the feedback you reviews that they'll work with local and corporate management to resolve the issues are lip service. When we went there was one employee and they were neither around the trampolines or at r front desk. Instead they were in a room by themselves likely staying clear or there messy conditions and actual customers. Ceiling insulation is actively falling onto the trampolines and one is covered in it I don't think there $3 socks will keep it off you. Avoid it at all costs.”

Grist Mill Park
4.6
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 06:00 AM

4320 Mount Vernon Memorial Hwy, Alexandria, VA 22309, United States

“Playground is fantastic and the fields are kept up well enough for a public park. The parking can get a little crowded but it’s usually manageable. There are folks who feel entitled enough to park on the grass and make their own spot but don’t be like them.”

“My kids have a blast there and the staff are really nice. I just paid for a birthday party for my youngest, and the kids really enjoyed it. Unfortunately the party prices have really gone up since jump was bought by get air. I don't think I'll be scheduling a party there again.”

Harry L. Coomes Recreation Center

300 Stanley St, Abingdon, VA 24210, United States

“Take my daughter here a lot. Pretty nice place ground but could use a facelift and some rubber mulch or rubber matting like the new small playground has above the new food city in Abington.”

Plum Point Park

Green Truck Farm
4.6
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 09:00 AM

3015 Hartland Ln, Markham, VA 22643, United States

“Came here for the July 4th weekend on a Friday and had an absolute blast of a time picking different berries. That weekend was perfect timing for blueberries with plentiful amounts of blueberries picked fresh off the bushes. Much easier to pick compared to the raspberries which are nestled deep within a grove of leaves. The blueberries were extremely flavorful and quite different than what you would get in the store with a much more floral taste. Plenty of parking and the people working the front desk were extremely friendly and the prices are quite reasonable.”
