“Beautiful park with lots to explore. From horse trails and jumps, shelters and fishing on the lake. This place has a lot to offer. Tons of walking trails, outdoor workout machines, playground areas, disc golf course, and lots of fishing spots. If you find yourself looking for a relaxing and beautiful area to venture through stop by here for a fun filled outdoor experience. You can't pick a wrong location here as every part is as beautiful as the last. I will be bringing my kayak here next time I come to visit this awesome park.”

“A nice place for a picnic. More than you would expect given the location. The prettiest parts are away from the parking lot so, make sure to take a stroll. I had to give it a lower rating due to the litter, the fountain being out of order and dog owners not picking up after their pets. Still it had much more than your average park.”

3&2 Baseball Club (west Complex)

8000 Monticello Rd, Shawnee, KS 66227, United States

“Great facilities and not a bad area. Only complaint is it wouldn’t be too hard to water down the fields a few hours before games to try to cut down on the dust. Makes it where dust clouds are just popping up everywhere since they don’t”

“Update 8/2/2023- spoke to someone at emerald city, they apologized for what happened and thanked me for letting them know about the incident so that they can better prepare next time. The person I spoke to mentioned that area SHOULD have been covered during open play. (Original) - I've been here twice. The second time we had an incident with one of our children. I'm posting this so that your supervising staff can better prepare next time or cover the area during open play where the incident occurred. My husband and I , along with other parents, were sitting on the top area (bleachers). We took both our kids this day for weekend open play (7/15). We could see most of the play area. At one point we could no longer locate our 4.5 year old. So we yelled at our 6 y.o. to see if he could see/find his brother. Our 6 y.o. starts crying and pointing to an area close by the rope swing/foam pit, so immediately we knew our kid had to be in there - stuck. No time to waste and my husband ran downstairs into the play area towards the area our other child pointed to. Husband located our child in an area that was about 6 feet deep (not exactly sure on depth but my husband struggled to get out himself after pulling our child out). The area was empty but deep. Not sure how our son got in there. Not sure if he jumped or fell. But he was scared and panicked that he couldn't get out. One of your supervising staff (teen) apologized and said she didn't see him go in there. Again, I'm just writing this so that you guys can do better next time being that it was during a scheduled time that parents aren't allowed on the floor.”
