“I can't say enough amazing things about this place. They were my home away from home while I recovered from a c-section and my daughter was in the NICU (she later passed but that's neither here nor there). They set us up with a counselor to get us talking to someone immediately. They take care of the families that are all there for medical reasons with hot meals/ family space. They have designated spaces for families to put food in fridges and pantry areas. They have a "suggested" price to pay but only if you can - and even when I handed them my card info because, despite leaving with such a bad outcome, I could afford it, they insisted I didn't need to pay (and I still insisted that I did because I COULD afford it and it was only right). Any time i go to McDonald's now, I ALWAYS round up my total to go to Ronald McDonald house charities. If I'm back in Houston for a trip, I try to stop by with donations. They do amazing things for people going through really difficult times.”

It also covers some of the top FBI cases and has evidence from the cases on display such as letters from the Unabomber and the boat from the Boston bombing. “Excellent library with friendly staff. The checkout kiosks are upgraded. The holds are well maintained and very useful for quick checkout. There is security in staff always, there is shelter nextdoor. So there are people around struggling with homelessness. The staff are excellent to deal with any situation and friendly with all. Get kids reading early and a lot. Best thing one can do for them. Lots of graphic novels enjoyable for teens and adults as well. It's blessing all of us have access to nice libraries to keep up with reading all the wonderful books.”

“1st time I have ever been to this place. Was there on October 24th 2023 around 4:40 pm with my daughter and grand daughter. There was a man standing outside the door with a PCCEO SHIRT on. We are assuming he is an employee. This man was very helpful, upbeat, smiling, and had a very welcoming kind of attitude.. he was genuinely courteous. Even though we didn't get to do what we thought we were there to do this man made our visit very much worth it. I wish i could of caught his name. If there were more of people like him on this planet we would all be in a lot better place. Thank you to the gentleman that made our day a little brighter just because of your friendly attitude. “Had to pick up my son today 9/3/23. I was traveling with my 76 year old dad. We both desperately needed to use restroom but they were blocked off!!! The man claiming to be cleaning restrooms was sitting down on his phone the entire time. Some people have medical conditions and or take medications which causes the need of the restroom. This is unacceptable!! Passengers getting off the Amtrak couldn't even use the facilities. Don't list this as an amenity if you're not going to have it opened!!!!!”

“6 IMPORTANT TIPS CROSSING SAN YSIDRO TO MEXICO (pedestrian) I have traveled on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Anytime between 8-1 PM is uneventful. I either get dropped off or take the trolley. I don't trust parking my car overnight in the U.S. lots. I am usually traveling to Rosarito with my young kiddos. 1. Have your documents easily accessible to you without fiddling and faddling. 2. If you have to put items on the conveyor belt, be on the other end to quickly retrieve your items. 3. You will have to walk up a small curve incline to the document checkpoint. Just in case mobility is a factor. 4. If things are moving smoothly and you go between the times recommended, the border crossing to Tijuana is 10 minutes. 5. I travel with kiddos, I always take full photos and send to family. Precautionary, because I watch crime shows. Maybe not important but what's 3 seconds of peace of mind. 6. Customs agents are so chilled, but I bet if something pops off it's on!
