“After a month of trying to get things resolved, some of my maintenance requests are still unfulfilled. A maintenance guy came out on 12/22 to take care of mold around my windows. He said he would come the following Wednesday to reseal the counters in the kitchen and bathroom because they're cracking. He never showed up. There are still other various maintenance requests that are uncompleted, even though I've called a dozen times. People at the leasing office keep telling me they'll take care of things, but nothing ever happens. This has been an ongoing problem the whole 6 years I've been living here, but it's gotten even worse the last couple months. You guys need to do better. This is terrible customer service.”

Figured out the problem quickly and even offered to fix a breaking toilet seat. Returned quickly with parts needed and fixed it in a promptly manner. Would recommend!”

“Maybe if I come on here and say something I can get some real help. I moved into one of your east Detroit properties in May2023 its almost December and I still have sewage coming out of my basement floor, the gutters still look like flower pots, the chimney and roof has been leaking through my 8year old son room/closet every time it rain now he has mold in his room keep in mind my son has epilepsy so this issue has triggered multiple seizures for him to the point I had to move him into my 17year old daughter room. Because nothing is being done the bathroom has began to leak and mold is slowly spreading in there as well. I’m currently 3months pregnant and I am stressed beyond measures because these were issue that existed long before I moved in. The electrician & the plumber are the only professional people that has been sent to my house. The other two came smelling of weed & alcohol and didn’t do anything but take pictures and make promises to return.”

“Northport is a great apartment complex in a convenient location. I've lived here for almost two years with my wife (and now 10 month old baby girl), and had no significant issues. The pool is great in the summer, and the resident only gym is a bonus too. Maintenance has been excellent, and my wife has said that she's happy Tom is our main guy as he's very friendly and always handy when we need help within our apartment. He replaced our fridge seal recently and helped us clean and replace our air vents, too. The geese can get a little crazy in the warmer months, but they try to stay on top of clearing poop. Also, the bugs can get crazy but we've been lucky to not have too many issues. We're on the bottom floor so we hear the neighbors everyday, but that's par for the course with apartment living. Overall, very grateful for this place!”

“Arcadia Grove is a learning experience. Document everything. I've had issues with management, and although I could work on my own temper, I HATE being lied to, having my lease altered WEEKS after I signed it, or having a bogus charge put on my account one time (which was ultimately resolved but shouldnt have ever happened im the first place). My #1 issue with this place is the tap water. Sometimes it's clear, like normal. A lot of the time it's orange with sediments. Maintenance has been helpful when I make requests, but once again my pipes are getting loaded with sediment and God knows what in this water!!!! It really sucks when you can't bathe in your own apartment. I have lots of evidence that this has been happening on and off, and it largely started with maintenance shutting off my water without ANY notice 6 months ago....which led to them having to replace multiple pipes inside the walls of my bathroom due to sediments completely clogging EVERYTHING after the water was turned back on. I wish I had better things to say but this is the way it is.”

“I’ve been a resident for almost 2 years and my experience has been exceptional. The grounds and landscaping is well maintained throughout the year. I really appreciated the complete remodel of the parking lot. The safety of this apartment is top tier, they have cameras and a 24/7 security guard available in case of emergencies. The management office has always answered my questions and made me feel welcomed. I love how they have year round events/competitions that makes it more of a fun place to live. My 5 year old son and I love to enjoy the pool in the summer months, the bathroom/shower access is easily accessible from the pool. In my time living here I haven’t had any major issues that needed maintenance to come, but in a unique situation where I needed my locks switched out they were timely and helpful. This is a great place to live, I’d recommend them to my friends/family.”

“Well! Where should I start. Everything was great up until we moved in! After that, full disappearance. I was idiot enough to convince my friends and boss to move OL. I was patient and fool enough to tell my self “no, this delay is not because of the officers in the building, lets try the Village Green” please go ahead and see my comment on VG’s website here. It has been exactly a 3 months since we informed office and headquarters VG that our patio is leaking. We are living with towels in front of the windows in case it rains and we couldn’t make it on time to save our furniture from the flood. I am not even talking abour garage doors and parking structures. Now we have amazing trash full of furnitures. I was idiot enough to refer someone, they said there will be $1000 for referral. I said ok. First it was a day after, and then they said other residents should be here at least for 3 months, then they split that in half saying half in a week other half in 3 months. Now it’s has been 3 weeks. I filled w9 form but not even sure i will get that money which I give zero attention.. All the ladies and gentlemen in the office, sorry, but I hold my patience long enough due to your explanations “things are slow in the headquarters” directing us to the Village Green. Yes, VG directed us to someone, and now that person is non responsive. want to pay huge amount of money for 0 service? this place is AMAZING to feel foolish enough. Top floors; AC engines will be on the top of your bedroom and living room day and night, buzzing and shaking horribly from the roof. First floor, be ready to smoke / fire alarms start ringing constantly day and night. Due to open parking lot doors, outsiders come and park especially on weekends. I don’t know how I can use home alarm because no one hesitates to teach us. Parking passes, non sense, half of the cars has no sticker and security has no right to apply fees to illegal vehicles. Maybe it is better to pay extra for the parking ha because consider “parking is included” and having no place after 7-8pm. Is there anything good? Yeah, package receiving is working, gym is working, people in the office are smiling all the time, they have great alerts system/app reminding you the upcoming rent 3-5 days before, where also you open a record for your problems in the house with no attention getting by the headquarters/office whatever. Now , i am (not) sure after this review, things will be getting solved on our end. But, as I said, NOT sure. But if so, I am sure I will get an attitude by phone or in person due to my review. But believe me, especially the people in the office here in the OL, I waited 3 months. Waited and waited and waited until today my living room is half full of water again. Update 9/27: they asked to see which side the window handle and agree to see the window at 5 pm. Then they will let the vendor know. Ok we have 3 options about 2 mails we sent on july and august with these images/videos 1- disappeared in the blackhole 2-never reached to someone, 3- people didn’t care. I am looking for tonight’s 5pm honorary visit 👏🏻 Update 9/28: no one came. Got a message saying that “ok, we saw it from the videos you sent (3 months ago), we are going to let lenders know and will older more sturdy, steel windows for you” Update 11/13: so called they brought new windows. It was 3 inches lower than our frame. So another 6 months probably… Update 12/13: door replaced. But we have 1 inches of openings from the frame 😂 house is freezing. Thanks Villagr Green and OL. I am looking forward to move out.”
