“I was a resident here for 4 years through 3 different property management companies (NorthPoint [great!], Lincoln Property [not so good]> Horizon [okay]). With Horizon, Jessi in maintance and Meagan in the office are great! The property wouldn't be as friendly without those two. :) The River Market is a great area and downtown is super accessible. It's nice having a pool onsite and how often it's open is dependent on how residents treat it (i.e., no glass or other incidents impacting chemical levels). Views from the Phase II (237) are a crowd pleaser! While Phase II is newer, the construction materials of the units seem cheaper than Phase I. There are short-term rentals (i.e., Airbnb) at this property. Hallways often smelled of marijuana. Like any wood frame complex, noise can be heard from neighbors above and next door. Valet Trash not consistently reliable. I was not charged any move out fees with my lease with Horizon beginning 2022. Phase I (228) parking is paid to RM West but the attached garage is not managed by them; there had been turnover over of this management at least twice during my time. The public can pay to enter the garage so it should not be considered secure. My car was sideswipped and broken into once each. Police reports and property management notified each time. Reviews mentioning Dialo, Alexis, Leah, are from Lincoln Property's time & reviews mentioning Jessica or Shelby are from NorthPoint's time.”

“I’m a bit late writing this as I moved out nearly two years ago, I specifically picked these apartments for the two pools as advertised. One was closed all summer long and the other had “maintenance” and opened a month before summer ended. I had a downstairs neighbor move out and my apartment became infested with fleas (I had one indoor cat) my AC stopped working like 3 times. The dryer also would shut off mid cycle. I had my wallet stolen from my vehicle. (I know I shouldn’t leave it in my car) I did not blame the apartment in any sense but when I went in to notify them they immediately got defensive, I was taking accountability I know it’s my fault but I wanted to Let them know somebody is prowling cars. All they did was lecture me like a child, it made me extremely uncomfortable. Other than those issues I did enjoy my apartment, Huge nice closets and spacious bedrooms. Quiet neighbors, and a good location.”

“I enjoyed living here. The apartments are architecturally pleasing with wide hallways, great views, and lots of light. The community is very well designed. The neighbors are nice. There is a nice pool, hot tub, BBQ, clubhouse, also well designed. My friends were always impressed when I brought them over. There is a nice bridge over a creek and wooded area which leads to a walkable shopping area with places to eat and coffee shops. Good school district. Great location. The property management team is professional and responsive. Jen and Tasha are especially standout property managers with a friendly professional attitude and excellent customer service. The management team was responsive and prompt when it came to maintenance. The only suggestions I have for improvement is the process for paying the last month's rent is needlessly confusing and a bit of a hassle. There were also two cars stolen in the year I was there, but these seem like isolated incidents, and the neighborhood itself and the surrounding is very safe, family oriented and upscale. I felt very safe there. Still, I think the apartment complex could be more vigilant about who they let come on the property. I see lots of friends of friends of friends using the pool and other facilities, and could consider beefing up security. Overall though, excellent experience. I would say Altitude is probably the best apartment complex in Kansas City.”
