“Lived here for 8 months. The property was not well taken care of, the actual living space was cheap and everything fell apart. It took weeks to get a minor maintenance request looked at. The gates never closed because they were broken for 5 out of the 8 months we lived there. The maintenance team bangs on doors at 1 in the morning over “emergencies” and the property team doesn’t do anything to alleviate the concern of a random man banging on the door in the middle of the night. They act like that’s normal and they don’t owe the residents any explanation. There are rats all over the communal trash compactor. My dog got giardia within the first month of living there from all the dog poop that is all over the property. We lived on the top floor and had ants all over the place. There are huge cracks between the door and the frame which lets all sorts of bugs in and lets all of the heat/cool air out. Your utilities are expensive for no reason. And when you try to leave, they nickel and dime you for every little thing. We were told we left $1000+ in damages that we owe which is completely false. We left that hell hole in better shape than we got it. Don’t live here if you have any self respect.”

“I moved here few months ago, while the facilities are modest compare to other Avalons I have been to, yet the staff of Avalon Mosaic are spectacular : Nabila is excellent example of leadership, she was very helpful during the tedious moving process, and so were Ariana; I love seeing George and Anna with their kind smiles whenever i walk in, as i know my request will defiantly be answered, Tamana on the other hand is great adds on to the team, i enjoyed knowing her after being here . Moreover, I would like to cherish Maintenance dept for their great services. It's nice cosy community, am happy being part of it.”

Maintenance requests are few and always resolved very quickly. The location is perfect, can walk to the mall across the street, or the metro 10 minute walk. It's a great place to live and the team works hard to maintain it.”

“The apartments are decent although the walls are a little thin. Overall, I’m satisfied with my living space. My only issue is with this particular management team in place. Concerns are not taken seriously or addressed properly by management…well at least my concerns aren’t. I’ve been here for 4 years now and this is the only management team I have gripes about. The Beacon of Groveton appears to go through several management changes every year or so and I am hoping that this team will “rotate” out soon.”

Quick service, responsive, and professional (you’d think those are table stakes, but you’d be surprised how many other apartments drop the ball on this; some have trouble even answering the phone). Nothing to complain about there. Buildings are a bit older, but still fine. Really nice little pond along with the tennis courts. Oh yeah - being across the street from Trader Joe’s is amazing! That alone is a big perk. Rent is fair. Moving out due to personal reasons, but definitely recommend this apartment complex, which we picked after comparing to a number of other options nearby. Great bang for your buck.”

“Let's be clear, I never want to move. I love this community, the people, EVERY employee in the front office, the cleanliness, my apartment, the attention to detail, even the maintenance!? phenomenal. I love every thing about living here and the fact that I love my actual apartment in addition? bliss. I have had 0 issues. The staff goes above and beyond. The building has security equivalent to fort Knox. It is a 2 minute walk from Fair Oaks Mall (1 min and 55 seconds actually because yes, I timed it) and a 1 minute walk from a flurry of stores I actually WANT to go to and frequented often prior to moving. Again, I love the people, the area, the location, the schools and the leasing office. I love it here.”
