“I would suggest this company to find your next therapist to literally anybody and let me tell you why; not only is it nice to do over video call so for me living out in the middle of nowhere it's nice that I can just hop on a video call and have therapy rather than having to drive over an hour or over 2 hours somewhere just for an hour. I will say there was a hang up as far as actually getting said therapist only because I have Medicaid and as the world knows you have to jump through thousands of Hoops to get a doctor when you have medicaid. So when I first tried to set up an appointment it got canceled right away but I was contacted by customer service within Behavioral Health to explain to me that the therapist I originally chose did not accept Medicaid but that they had other therapists that do accept it so they were willing to sit down with me and ask me what I need in a therapy session and what type of person I'd like to deal with and they took their time to set me up with the therapist I have now. I only have good things to say about this service and it seems like they have a whole bunch of wonderful therapists and psychologists that you can work with”

“This is my first time going to see a psychiatrist to help with some personal issues I have been dealing with. I made my appointment with Emily Filip and she was professional, warm, kind, listened to what I had to say. She asked me questions pertaining to my life and the current issues I've been dealing with. She was insightful in her responses and I appreciate that she feels medication isn't the first response to my case. Instead, she suggested that I see a therapist because she believes the even though I have some issues handling anxiety, irritability; it doesn't need medication but rather seeking someone to speak to and learn coping skills. If medication is needed down the line, she left it open for me to reach out to her in a few months to see how I am doing and we can decide the next course of treatment. She focused on the person that I am and acknowledge that I need more help to learn new techniques that can assist what I have been doing already. She urged me to continue to journal my thoughts and emotions as I wait to speak to a therapist.”

“Redemption Psychiatry and Mandy have been such an important part of my life the last 2 years. Mandy is compassionate, balanced and fair, really good at taking notes, and has been an invested partner in my mental health since the beginning. She's been incredibly empathetic and effective at helping me manage my ADHD, including providing easy ways to reach out to her so I don't have to call the office (who doesn't hate calling doctors offices?) and being proactive about circumventing obstacles with refills, such as financial and delivery issues. The office staff have always been wonderful, and medication management has never been an issue for me. I recommend anyone looking for psychiatric services remember that you're entering into a partnership, with both sides afforded respect and reasonable expectations. I work hard to keep appointments and communicate openly with Mandy and she's always done the same.”

“The whole practice has always been good. I just don't like the phones go to an answering service. It's also an all in one practice if you like that but I only go for the mental health side. It took me decades to find a place like this. I see Dr Benigar and he's absolutely wonderful! I drive 84 miles round trip just to see him. He actually listens to you and discusses your treatment with you instead of just doing what he thinks. And doesn't give up when you've been a difficult case. He keeps discussing with you and trying. He's really hard to get into but what good Dr isn't. If you can, he's worth the wait! Also since this is a multi practice office they take insurance when most psychiatrist now are individuals and don't take insurance. I called a few when looking and they wanted like $300. That's not doable. And when you're already having mental health issues that makes it worse thinking you're never going to get help. But I kept going and found this place. Highly recommend!”

“If I could give zero stars for the Burke Center I would, but unfortunately that’s not an option here. I literally just watched a family member who is a patient of the Burke Center and has been for a quite some time go through one of the roughest things I’ve ever seen in my life! With no medical help or advice from there, the nurse practitioner that was assigned to take care of my loved one was extremely rude and unprofessional. When assistance was requested and needed there was no help at all! After trying to speak to a supervisor or doctor it was left to a simple “ they will call you”. Sadly there was no call or help from the Burke Center. Which lead my loved one to seeking a new doctor who is better educated on the medication they are taking. The medication that they are taking has extreme withdrawal symptoms that could lead to death. Thankfully the doctor that we found is very well educated. So this will never happen again. I would highly recommend searching for a person / place with more experience, knowledge, and an all around better quality of care and humanity. Sincerely, A loving family member”
