Dry Falls Visitor Center

Closed until 10:00 AM

34875 Park Lake Rd NE, Coulee City, WA 99115, United States

“When I was a child, my family drove right past this natural wonder every summer... without ever stopping! Mom and dad, why, oh why didn't we stop to see Dry Falls?! Simply one of the most astounding displays of nature I have ever seen. Standing there with the realization that only 15,000 years ago, that very spot was under a raging torrent of water more than 400 feet deep with another 400 foot drop for the falls. Just amazing! A must see!”

Lakeside Park
4.7
( 8 reviews )

4601 Lakeside Dr, Dallas, TX 75205, United States

“Nice park but looks like most part is being renovated. Has nice looking lake but smells under the bridge. There are benches around the lake. Professional photographers taking portrait pictures can be seen. Magnificent sculpture of Teddy bear family. Creek nearby with arc-like bridge which is also good for photo-shoot. Good for day or evening stroll.”

Limestone Branch Distillery
4.9
( 8 reviews )

1280 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Lebanon, KY 40033, United States

“We toured Limestone on the day after Christmas with Angel. She was fantastic with her knowledge, facts, anecdotes about the Beam and Dant families who produced the man who created this distillery. We were provided with samples from the beginning of the tour with the cocktails that came with our ticket until the end at the flight tasting. We were given chocolates to accompany the different whiskeys and Angel provided “tasting tips” as well. Blake created two amazing cocktails for us! He was a fun guy! And I cannot forget the cat who could (literally) open doors! It was a quick seeming tour, fast paced and brimming with information and history lessons. Highly recommend!”

1622 12th St, Rockport, TX 78382, United States

“I don't recall seeing the name of the tree or age. But it is impressive big and old. It is short walk around a bit and I went to the shore and walk on the bicycle for a while. Lot of shells there!”

Fort Ouiatenon
4.7
( 16 reviews )

3129 S River Rd, West Lafayette, IN 47906, United States

“Feast of the Hunters Moon! This reenactment of life in the 1700s has grown larger year after year. The food is great! The Scottish Bridie meat pies and so much more are crowd favorites, but they do sell out so just wait in the line instead of waiting until the line goes down. Tips- park at the Purdue football stadium and take the bus that drops you off at the entrance $4 pp). By far the easiest. No internet! Be prepared. Buy tickets ahead of time so you don’t have to wait in line, and you get a discount.”

“This is one of my favorite places to just bliss out! I am so entranced by the attention to detail in this garden. The walkways are lit up in the evenings. The sunset is Gorgeous and the Virginia Tech campus in the background just gives it a total romantic ambiance! I took the doggies there for a stroll on Sunday and the weather was Beautiful too! I would highly recommend this place to experience nature at its finest! To all the students, staff and Horticulturists that maintain these gardens 👏🏻 job well done! ♥️💯 💐 🌺”

Mossy Of Picayune

( 8 reviews )

241 Frontage Rd, Picayune, MS 39466, United States

“From the initial contact, a great straight forward deal given to us by Amanda, the welcoming at the door and step by step help guidance and support by Carol through the purchase. Greeting and help by Sara and finance with Jeff. We have never had a deal that was as smooth and as easy as this one. The next day we got a follow-up call by Carol who has just been amazing. We will refer all our friends. Please note we drove from another state and will do it again for the same experience!”

Boulder County Farmers' Market - Saturday Longmont Market
4.7
( 8 reviews )

9595 Nelson Rd, Longmont, CO 80501, United States

“This has got to be one of my favorite farmers markets. Logistically, it has ample and free parking, making it easy to get to. It also has a great variety of produce plus all the other wonderful vendors that are there regularly. You could literally hit this up every week and never need to go to the grocery store. And I love that it supports local producers.”

Winter Island Park
4.5
( 16 reviews )

50 Winter Island Rd, Salem, MA 01970, United States

“We brought our family of 7 to Winter Island Park to enjoy October in Salem. We stayed in the RV field and appreciated how secluded it was. The view from the waterfront sites through was stunning! A perfect view to watch sunset. We walked around and our kid’s had a blast finding crabs at the beach. I would highly recommend!”

Jackson Lake Island
4.7
( 8 reviews )

Cypress Ln, Millbrook, AL 36054, United States

“Beautiful and serene island that houses the ghost town of Spectre plus a whole lot of goats. We visited in the beginning of June, and not that many people were on the island although the weather was perfect for it. Some came to spend a few hours there, some the whole day. For a small fee, it is possible to camp on the island overnight, which I absolutely recommend doing. We went in our campervan and unfortunately, due to a tight schedule, could only spend 1 night on the island. It was magnificent - immersed in nature - and we would have loved to spend more time there. There are clean toilets and a shower available, picnic spots and benches, as well as access to the lake for fishing or swimming. The sites for camping have a fire pit, and I believe there is one spot with hook-up. The goats are friendly and cute, typically minding their own business, but if you offer them an apple or some grasses, they will happily accept and the bolder ones will then seek you out again and again for more snacks.”

Lake Mead Rv Village

( 8 reviews )

268 Lakeshore Rd #2, Boulder City, NV 89005, United States

“A lakefront location at this campground is a must. The view is spectacular! Staff are friendly and helpful. Doing the laundry was a technical nightmare as you needed to download the app in order to pay for the washer and dryer. We could never get it to work and had to have a staff member come and use his app to be able to use the laundry. My husband paid the staff member who was very helpful. It was observed that another person had troubles getting to the 1 800 number when the washing machine didn’t work. If you can get the app to work, you have to download $10 onto the app. But if you only use five dollars, then what happens to the balance of your five dollars? Do you get to use it elsewhere at another campground? The system wasn’t very customer oriented. The bathrooms are clean, but regulating the shower water between scalding hot and ice cold was extremely difficult. When I finally had the water come out to a lukewarm, it was at a mere drizzle. Water temperature challenges happened to the lady in the next shower also, as well as my husband in the men’s washroom. Internet was reliable, but there is no cable. That was fine. This is our second time visiting this campground. We don’t remember these problems occurring before. Unfortunately, we probably won’t return. It’s too bad, as it’s a beautiful place.”

3100 Droste Rd, St Charles, MO 63301, United States

“This seems like a safe park with great lighting at night to allow walking and exercise after dark, especially during the winter when I don't get home until after dark. It was very quiet the few times I went this winter. There were a few people walking dogs on leash.”

“The rose came in even better than I expected! It was packaged very well and was delivered quite quickly once shipped with a tracking # and regular updates provided. No damage to the bush open arrival - even better yet I thought I was going to get a bareroot rose like what everyone else does to save on shipping costs but instead it’s a fully rooted 2 gallon and ready to be planted rite away! Definitely a great product and value - will be ordering again”

Visalia Farmers' Market
4.7
( 16 reviews )

2231 W Main St, Visalia, CA 93291, United States

“This should not be call Farmer's Market. More appropriately, Vendor Place. How disappointing. 90% other stuff, 10% produce. Roughly 40% of the sellers are certified. Case in point, asked one Vendor about product, business cards, Instagram had nothing. Didn't know where product was made. Let's just say, while not saying it's true with this vendor. There have been sellers know to buy less expensive liquids and rebottle and private label. Buyer beware. I do understand businesses need to expand to reach new customers, but selling candy, cupcakes, and cookies isn't a Farmer's market. The new location was adequate with good parking 50 yards away. While I am an animal lover. Rules exist for a reason. Why would the venue mention health concerns, with no dogs allowed only allow dogs.? People ate getting away with anything and stores, etc are scared to hurt customer's feelings. Listen, take your dog to a park”

“Hood Park and Campground. Park has a boat launch area and a small beach area. Plenty of picnic areas and big and small pavilions. Campground has dump station. Both back in and pull through spots. It has a amphitheater where you can watch kid friendly movies on Saturday nights. The restrooms and showers are cleaned every day between the checkout time and the checkin time so you are never bothered my the cleaning crew. The price is $30 per site with electricity. No water hook ups. If you have the National Park Senior pass then it is only $15 per night. Very very clean. Playgrounds in both the park and the campground. The sites are all hard surface.”
