“I had an incredible experience at the stony beach by the seaside. This hidden gem boasts an idyllic combination of captivating tides, playful seagulls, and excellent surf conditions. The rhythmic crashing of the waves against the stony shoreline created a soothing symphony that immediately set the tone for a relaxing day. The natural beauty of the surroundings, coupled with the presence of seagulls soaring gracefully overhead, added a touch of enchantment to the entire setting. For surfing enthusiasts, this beach is a paradise. The consistent tides and perfectly formed waves provided an exhilarating surfing experience that catered to both beginners and seasoned surfers alike. The joy of riding the waves against the backdrop of the vast sea was truly invigorating. Convenience was not compromised either. The presence of a well-maintained roadside and ample parking facilities made the beach easily accessible, making it an ideal destination for families and solo travelers alike. Moreover, the beach's suitability for camping allowed me to extend my stay and fully immerse myself in the tranquil atmosphere. In summary, this stony beach is a captivating haven that offers the best of nature's beauty and recreational activities. Whether you're seeking a thrilling surf session or a peaceful camping retreat, this beach has it all. It's a treasure trove that guarantees unforgettable memories against the backdrop of the sea, tides, and the ever-charming seagulls.”

“this is one of the best facilities in the neighbourhood (if not the best), and it definitely sweetens the deal for those living in somehow sketchy Regent Park. Leisure and lane swimming are free! a little unusual thing are co-ed change rooms. showers are right by the pool, so you can only shower in your bathing suit. there are lockers but you need to bring your own lock. most of people just bring their bags to the pool area, where you can keep an eye on them for all the time. the atmosphere is rather relaxed. the slow lane swimming is everything but lane swimming. people stop in the middle or change directions or just hang out to chat. the life guards are not overly strict, so it is usually up to other swimmer to explain to those new to the facility what the lane swimming is, and that there are certain rules (like keeping the direction). anyways, it can be a pleasant experience, but just be patient with others. l eisure swim can be a bit wild, especially on weekends. people just walk in and out - again - the life guards are too busy doing their job I suppose to address people walking in to the pool area in street clothes, just hanging out or maybe waiting for their friends. the hot tub is still not available (as of August 2022) not sure when it's gonna be operational again. anyways, it's free so I can't complain. sometimes there is no soap in showers/washrooms, so you might wanna bring your own. a beautiful park outside - in summer you can just dry out there. the facility has hair driers though. PS> just read the recent reviews about thefts plaguing the place… maybe that explains all those people walking in and out the change rooms in street clothes… I wish there was more supervision. anyways, if you live near by just walk and don't bring any valuables with you. I keep my bag with clothes, a towel and shoes by the swimming pool, never gtt robbed yet (know the wood).”

“Julie was patient, thoughtful professional and went above and beyond to ensure I received what I needed. She had dealt with my dynamic and complicated case for almost 2-3 years. She had sought out multiple members and even spoke to my mother to assist me. She is an asset to the embassy and should be rewarded for her kindness and efforts. Great service, great leadership and a great person.”

“Used this as a stopover point during a long drive with a baby. It's a really cool and scenic spot with commanding views of the flats. That's why the French built the fort there! Well kept and staffed federal park. Cool attraction is a star fortress you can walk around in, complete with powder magazines. Cheap entry.”

“I enjoy the skating. The city staff are rude and look bored while doing nothing. It's pathetic that they have no interest in even faking some customer service. Why do they have to be grumpy and rude when we want a skate aid for our child. Here's a hot tip, put them up against the boards on the ice at the start of the skate they all get used. Try smiling, being friendly, and thankful to the people that pay you just like we do at our jobs.”

“It's so incredible to be able to have spaces like these for everyone to settle in, socialize and for children to develop their imagination and creativity! York's Toronto Public library is incredible! The unit has several floors, with each floor specifically for children, adults, academic books and others. The space for children is located on the first floor, and in the stepdaughter's area there are some convenience stores. There is entertainment for all ages, including lots of interaction to develop children's logical reasoning and their sense of division and teamwork. The place also has a family bathroom and bathrooms adapted for use by children, and use by people with physical disabilities: having support bars, doors with automatic openings, security alarms, automatic sinks and trash cans and changing tables at the appropriate height for wheelchair users and people without disability. The other floors are accessible by both stairs and elevators. The library has some copies in Braille to serve people with visual impairments, in addition to the assistance of librarians. The library is located on the same premises as the York activity center and is close to the subway and several bus stops. For those who use a car, there is private parking in the building, and paid spaces on the street. It's very worth knowing. For those who don't yet have a library card, it's very simple to do and the website has all the necessary documents, and the card comes out on the same day: you need the card to borrow books.”
