Pennsylvania Department Of Transportation - Drivers License Center, Bridgeville
4.2
( 10 reviews )
Open until 04:15 PM

1025 Washington Pike #F2, PA-50, Bridgeville, PA 15017, United States

“I updpated my drive license because I moved from Florida. Honestly, I'm delighted with the service here. In Miami, I had to take an appointment a month and a half before visiting the DMV, the queues there were so long. After that, I spent about three hours there on the procedure for changing the drive license. Here it took me no more than 20 minutes. Polite and friendly staff, the interior space is well organized.”

Penndot Driver's License Center

Open until 04:15 PM

429 N Enola Rd, Enola, PA 17025, United States

“Going to the DMV / DOT has always been a chore that was never fun. It normally turns out that you're waiting numerous hours on long lines, in some dingy place with rude service representatives. But NOT here at the Enola branch. It is actually a pleasure coming here. The customer service representatives are always friendly and knowledgeable. The facility is always clean. Many people there to help you. No waiting in line hours on end. I live a lot closer to the DOT in Harrisburg than I do, Enola. But I will happily take the long drive to Enola because of how great it is there. It is the ONLY location I will go for all my drivers license needs. Kudos to all the great people who work there.”

“Was able to get the job done but it took all morning. The staff here is very nice and helpful but the PA DMV as a whole does not run well. I emailed ahead of time what documents I needed to bring for my situation and of course it was not correct. So it took two trips here to get it done. My wait time was prob 20-30 min.”

Erie County Public Library - Blasco Memorial Library

160 E Front St, Erie, PA 16507, United States

“The Erie County Library is one of my favorite places to go. It's beautiful inside with endless resources for all ages. There is an enormous music section that I frequent that is always stocked with newer release CD's and also older treasures. I love taking my kids there. It's a great atmosphere for a family. The Erie Maritime Museum is in the same building and worth a look. I recommend anyone pay a visit to this beautiful library.”

Beth helped make our dream wedding come true; it was such a wonderful day. We are so, so lucky we had our ceremony at Graeme Park. It was a fantastic venue and we are so, so happy that Beth worked with us to get it all done.”

30 N 41st St, Philadelphia, PA 19104, United States

“Terrible service from an employee. I went with my mother to an appointment to stamp her passport. Since her residence has never reached her and she had an emergency to her country. It was the most frustrating and worst experience of my life, the officer who attended us was a rasist at all times. We lived in Pennsylvania 3 months ago and he sent us to New York. And he took us out of the facilities, he was very rude and racist. Are a formal complaint against that agent even made me cry of impotence just for not speaking English”

Consulate General Of Italy
4.2
( 8 reviews )
Open until 01:00 PM

600 Chestnut St Suite 956, Philadelphia, PA 19106, United States

“I'm shocked that this is one of the higher-rated Italian consulates in the US. The Italian Consulate of Philadelphia is a perfect example of why in spite of the 22% VAT, 22% import duties, 40% income tax and multiple other sources of revenue, Italy has one of the highest levels of government debt in the world with a pitiful economy. Our lives are dominated by these smug, lazy, inefficient functionaries with a God complex and their corrupt bosses. They’re almost ingrained in our culture. Our laws make it so that it’s impossible to fire a state employee. It’s why if young people want to start a business, they're leaving Italy. With suffocating and slow bureaucracy, it’s simply too hard to do business there. With young people leaving, the pension system is going to collapse. After killing productivity with over-reaching regulations and impossible permit wait times, there’s no more wealth to tax. Result: ballooning government debt and interest payments. The same pasta factory that took 11 months to open in Chicago took 7 years to open in Verona. All of these excessive laws under the disguise of "civilization." I guess we're just 7 times more civilized. Italian consular officials are like regular bureaucrats, but their worst qualities are exaggerated. The goal of these snobs is NOT to provide basic services, it’s to milk you for as much money as possible. You get burned so that they can live the high life with a prestigious-looking office. They couldn’t care less whether or not your life is destroyed by their inaction. They have a monopoly on legal authority. If you need anything done in Italy but reside anywhere in their jurisdiction, you MUST go through them. Even living abroad, you can’t escape these fools. So they take as much of your money as they can with extortionist fees and provide as little as possible in return. They can ignore you during a family emergency. It’s not like they’re elected officials, so you have no recourse. Need to get into contact with someone? Impossible. Straight to voicemail during office hours and the voicemail box is always full. If you’re lucky enough to leave a message, they’ll never call back. Don’t bother sending an email. They never reply. Ever wonder why they only accept money orders instead of bank checks like every other European consulate? Makes it more difficult for you to claim that you paid for something but never received anything back. It’s difficult and expensive for companies like Western Union to check whether or not money orders have been cashed and most people aren’t willing to go through the hassle. It’s not like the services they provide aren’t in demand: it’s nearly impossible to get an appointment for any service and if you manage to get one by some miracle, it’s in the distant future. They create artificial scarcity so that they can drive up the price. They DO NOT CARE that you have to wait an absurd amount of time. Government employees always get comfortably paid at the end of the day regardless of performance. You would think that with all the demand there is for their services and with their huge fees for simple tasks, they would simply hire more people with the additional revenue. Nope. At best, they’re incredibly incompetent managers. “Oh, but we publish our financials according to transparency laws.” Do you also publish the obscene endowment on a per employee basis? If you have a complaint, let me remind you not to just mention it on google reviews. Contact the general URP office for il Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale. Get the corrupt fools out or hire more of them. Or you could stop wasting money managing lame social media accounts with 2,000 followers.”
