Since they are part of the Clark county library, you can also request materials from any other branch and pick them up here! They also have many activities and special events. I especially like the book sales (which also sell DVD's and BD's)”

“They are super kind and efficient. I recommend filling your application online and just providing them your confirmation number and they'll have you sorted in no time. They also gave us a sweet bumper sticker reading "Married in Las Vegas" and there’s an adorable heart before stepping inside their building- good for pictures. Cheers to memories that last a lifetime!”

“Went for a "Meet the author" event. It was a children's author named Bill Clanton. He writes a series of books about a narwhal and a jellyfish. It started at 6 and he spoke for about an hour before he started the book signing. Many of the people stayed so their children could get their books signed. The library itself is very clean, very well laid out and the staff very friendly. However many of the families had multiple children and multiple books to be signed. Kids will be kids....... but....... the majority of these kids were running around like chickens with their heads cut off. And their parents were letting them. If I ever would have acted like that in the library my mom would've whooped my tail. I kept my tongue-in-cheek and did not let my thoughts come out of my mouth. I waited patiently in line with my daughter for over an hour and a half with all the ruckus going on around us and finally got to the front of the line to have her book signed. The poor staff looked tired and like they wanted to say something as well but they kept a smile on their face and kept the line moving as quickly as possible. Overall it was a good experience and I can't wait for the next "meet the author" event.”

“I attended a business networking event here and the entire time we were there we couldn't stop laughing at how bad the service was. This is why you hold events like this in a hotel conference center because the country club was completely ill-equipped to handle anything outside of a baby shower. For starters, they provided a room 1/2 the size that was actually contracted for and their excuse was, "well, the person who wrote this up doesn't work here anymore". The catered food was bland and tasted like hospital food. The best part was when we requested a few ballpoint pens for the attendees and they gave us golf pencils. The staff and management here are so completely clueless on how to host an event I doubt any of them could get a job in the catering department of a Motel 6. If you're hosting a retirement party for Grandpa, I'm sure it's a fine venue. For anything past that, book your event at any number of countless other places in Las Vegas.”
