“We call this our new library after the revamp. It’s a fantastic and clean library. Plenty of space for the kids to do the reading, play games, work on computers. They also have a nice play room for the young ones. Just need to reserve it. Staff is pretty good, not all are gray though some of them are new so need some asking around.”

“Re: Passport Services In the past, I have received passport services from Arbutus library for multiple individuals and it was great. Recently, I have received passport services from Arbutus library for my daughter. I paid for the following... $35 for each passport application submitted $15 for each photo needed $?? expedite shipping During the appointment, the library woman was clueless on how to properly fill out the application and how to take a proper photograph of a baby. Last year is when I had a library appointment. I just received a letter in the mail from the "passport administration" requesting for more information. I don't even think I'm going to be able to fly out of the country on time due to poor services from this Arbutus branch; moreover, it's going to cost me more money if I have to change my flight. I'm sure many other people are experiencing the same issues with not having their passport applications properly being filled out and getting letters back from the "passport administration" requesting for more information and signatures. Overall, you can have the Arbutus Branch Library fill-out the application for you, but they are in no way professionals. It feels as if they just have any random staff member doing it. If your willing to pay to ensure that it is done right, your better off going somewhere else, or doing it yourself.”

“Wow! Where should I start. I wanted to schedule an appointment, online, regarding my car registration. The online options are no help. None of them were in relation to what I needed. Then you call them. I figured I would call closer to the time they close. It rings several times then automation jump on and gives you a spill saying, "due to the high call volume we can't answer your call." I called at 4 o'clock and 4:15. I think they turned the phones off when it gets close to 4:30.”

“I’m not sure why PC Country has such messily library hours, not many cafe and work spaces, yet the lowest test scores in all the suburbs surrounding DC (Fairfax, Arlington, Montgomery etc.). It makes no sense, having to driving around trying to find a place to study in this county. Librarian greeted me seemingly proud that they did not open until 12 today. What are the librarians doing in there that they don’t do in the closest 5 counties? They are no bigger with more services. I hope PGC gets their priorities together.”
