“Beautiful football field with artificial turf. There is also an indoor viewing area, thankfully we had a beautiful November day to watch outside, but we could have easily had a miserable day. Bathrooms are indoor, warm and clean. Very nice facility”

8665 Nose Hill Dr NW, Calgary, AB T3G 5T3, Canada

“I decided to spend some time at this library like I usually do. I had a great reading experience with the seven hours I spent there. This library is a massive, beautiful, cozy, and bright environment; they have different sections for Kids and teens, special program rooms, a quiet reading place, open reading areas, and casual reading areas, and their washrooms 🚻 are well maintained. They have lots of books 📚 by different authors on various subjects and areas of life. I must also commend their workers; they are professional and friendly.”

“I don't recommend this place to anyone. My husband and I had an appointment with an employment specialist (Anh). In the middle of the session, his colleague who sit next to his desk jumped in and said I have a good news for you, there is a workshop that has capacity for 2 people and I will add your name to the list, which now we know why they push people to attend their workshops. Then Anh said based on your background and experience I can easily help you to find a job. He never replied to our followup emails, except one time, and we found him very rude and dishonest. The way he replied was so disappointing.”

Kennedale Eco Station

5355 127 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5A 0B4, Canada

“The employees at this location are excellent. The city however needs to update the opening hours on google. Sept 30 is not a recognized stat holiday in Alberta so if you’re going to close then at least post it so people don’t waste gas to come find a locked gate. Not publishing a phone number and sending all calls for everything through to the main 311 line doesn’t help.”

Fish Creek Library

( 16 reviews )

11161 Bonaventure Dr SE, Calgary, AB T2J 6S1, Canada

“I come here to study every so often, and this library is always so loud. It is mainly the adults talking and laughing loudly instead of children that are the source of this distracting sound. I notice several people leave when the noise goes on for too long. It should not be up to guests to have to ask the staff to ask other guests to be quiet. What happened to libraries being a quiet place? It seems like this notion and courtesy no longer exists.”

Seton Library

Open until 09:00 PM

4995 Market St SE, Calgary, AB T3M 2P9, Canada

“Very popular location in South East Calgary, houses YMCA, daycare and Calgary Public Library beside a small coffee shop. YMCA here has an Olympic size swimming pool and few splash, small pools for professional and recreation programs. It has facilities FOR indoor ICE hockey, rooms that can be booked for yoga, martal art, etc. You won't feel trapped in a complex as it's very airy and open yet inddor. Best of all they have an actual helicopter in the library :)”

Coronation Eco Station

11440 143 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5M 1V6, Canada

“First time coming to an Eco Station and was very happy with the experience. The older gentleman that provided me with how things worked was very nice. It was even a free weekend, but was fast and no long line ups. The way they have the bins laid out for the various disposals was very nice and kept things fast and efficient.”

Medicine Hat Public Library

“Great place to find books, games, movies... You do need a library card it's very fast to get and free at this point. Staff is very helpful and nice. Great place. You can renew books online if they are not in high demand. Parking lot needs more slots.”
