“What a fun pool! I've lived in pdx my whole life and never visited. Very limited capacity, HOWEVER! If you only want to swim for an hour or so, you can come halfway through open swim and there is no wait. Lifeguards were great! Front desk staff great! Snacks and towels and goggles available for purchase. Fun day!”

Charles Jordan Community Center

9009 N Foss Ave, Portland, OR 97203, United States

“The gym is nice and the basketball courts are nice but the staff is awful. They had me fill out an entire teen force application that states you have to be 20 years or younger to be in and then you can use the basketball courts but then after I finished it told me I have to have dropped out of highschool and be trying to get my GED to join. Makes no sense at all. Apparently you can't play basketball if you graduated highschool. A guy also threatened to fight me in the gym because I accidentally used a machine I didn't know he was using and then the person working knew him so he checked up on him and asked if he was "okay" even though he was the one yelling threatening to fight me. The front desk guy that's usually there is also very condescending and talks to you like your a little kid all the time. The bathroom also smelled like weed and I was going to the bathroom and he came into the bathroom and accused me of smoking weed in the bathroom. Overall nice gym but worst staff I've ever dealt with at any place I've been too.”

Catholic Charities

“They are so helpful and have so many references if they themselves are not able to help you. The offer free services like money management courses, but also reduced pricing services which I love. They are always friendly, clear and transparent about their services, options and fees. I would highly recommend them and they also have volunteer options if you want to help your community.”

Morrison Bridge

“Construction is way too long. Traffic is bad every single day. People were driving very rudely. Homeless people are everywhere. 2016 I came to Portland area from Washington DC. That time Portland was beautiful, clean, cute and amazing city. Even when I walk at 2-3am around in Portland I wasn’t scared at all. Now days different story. I can’t walk or jog anymore with my phone over midnight. Sometimes I don’t want to go by myself. Kinda sad. Who has the responsibility to clean this city, bridge… and drugs.. so sad and painful. I was sick and tired of Washington DC, Boltimore MD and ghetto places in East Coast. But Portland isn’t different than there. So Sad.. but still beautiful night views.”
