7900 Edgewater Dr, Oakland, CA 94621, United States

“I came here as a volunteer and sign up was seamless. I went to their site online and chose the time that fits my schedule. I volunteered for the morning session but you can do both to include the afternoon. You must make a reservation to volunteer ahead of time as they do not accept drop ins. There are several ways you can volunteer, I chose the produce sorting. If it's your first time here, you will need to arrive 15 minutes early and spend about 10-15 minutes for their new volunteer orientation. There is a 15 minutes break between 8:30am - 12pm morning shift. The last 30 minutes of your shift will consist of cleanup for the next volunteers. You will be assigned a lead volunteer to get you familiarize with your task and I must say, they were amazing. I would also like to say that the whole staff here were fantastic and extremely very helpful. I would highly recommend them if you're looking to give back to the community. Cheers!”

He had to sign so they can get paid.I received a paper stating dates of workers hours. But they don’t match up. I’m the one taking care of my son with no help. I gave up asking..And they’re supposed to provide help for my son, Can’t always use Covid as an excuse. I need to know who I can go to for help.”
