“Great trip up to Monte Solaro via the cable car. So peaceful after the hustle and bustle of Capri and Anacapri. We didn't visit the cafe at the top but it looked nice. There were lovely distant views from the top, viewing platform and walks.”

“WARNING TRAVELERS-DANGEROUS!!! Unacceptable to drive 20 minutes to room from reception desk. This place is endangering travelers on more than one level. Staff did not care that rooms were not ready for hours after 3pm arrivals. I witnessed several couples having to walk around the “questionable” neighborhood waiting for the keys to their room. I was not even given the address of my room before being told I could take the bus, metro or taxi. To quote the staff “Head towards Rome, it’s only a few stops on the metro”. After being continuously dropped from getting a taxi, I was given a hard time for wanting to wait for a ride in their office instead of outside surrounded by a bar scene with eyeing men. I was appalled that I had to tell them I did not feel safe for them to let me stay inside. I waited so long it was dark and the plaza was going to be closing. The police doing laps in the plaza did not make me feel better about the neighborhood I was about to be stranded in. I can’t express how disturbing it was that the staff just did not seem to care at all about how any of us clients were feeling about having to “find our rooms” 20 minutes away. Very dangerous!!!”

“The train station is surprisingly small considering how busy it can get and how popular Como is. You're really only going to see a few rail options outside a small interior. There are some basic amenities here like a ticket stand, convenience store, and toilet. Prices into this station are thankfully cheap but expect the trains to get full fast and be fairly busy, especially on weekends.”

“Travelled twice with them, anytime there is a problem with the booked seats and I had to jump from a seat to the other! Also it's needed to ask permission to use the toilet.”

“The ascent with this funicular is beautiful, the parking at the start is very convenient, it's a shame that the signs with the timetables have not been updated for years and the unsuspecting visitor, with a motor disability, finds himself at 6.10pm in front of a stationary cabin. So, the unsuspecting visitor with walking problems always has two options, risk prosthetic hips or call a taxi, yes a taxi, because even if the husband had parked in the very convenient car park at the start of the funicular and wanted to pick up his wife, no it could if it didn't incur very high fines, in fact the area is the entire ZTL”
