“A nice island located in the northern part of Bangkok and is accessible via a ferry from Wat Sanam Nuea for a very minimal cost (paid upon arrival to the island), which covers round trip. To get to the ferry terminal, expect about 1 hour commute by car (2+ hours by public transportation) from central Bangkok. The island has a single circular road which goes through shop stalls, restaurants, coffee, nature, etc... one can rent bikes but it seems like a too short (6-7km) round for it.”

“Good:) well organized by Lomprayah pier. Huge parking lot 50 baht per day. Easy to find and easy to get to by private car. As well as easy to buy the join ticket bus + boat by Lomprayah company. Coffee shop and restaurant are also open on the pier. Also have a delivery service to and from the island for reasonable price. Only 300 km from Hua Hin:)”

“Great place to meet up with friends and take your dog to run around on some grass. Plenty of bench seating but also a big rack of folding lawn chairs to put wherever you want to sit. Pleased to see the huge trees for shade but there is also some tenting up for additional shade for the dogs. Beautiful river view. Tasty coffee! Overall very pleased and we will be returning.”

“1. 30THB to Airport from here 2. 7-11 is available on the ground floor 3. Very less crowded and peaceful metro station. 4. Couple of beverages stalls were available too 5. Very easy ticketing, can get either at kiosk or in the office 6. Train frequency is really good, I’ve been here like about 6 times, all the time I got the train just in 5 minutes or less. 7. Few wending machines and book stall were here and a kind of small complex next to it”

“Big fresh market with abundant seafood, meat and poultry. Vegetables are cheaper in both wholesale and retail sales. Dried seafood is also cheaper there. . As a rule, buyers have to be careful with some older seafood that sometimes is blended in fresh ones in the tray(not the tank) of running water, a trick made to be impressed. It spoils the reputation of the market. So sad.”
