“I did not try any food, but went with off menu classics like a Manhattan, and asked for a floral but not sweet gin cocktail and was given the Pegu Club, along with some great background of the drinks origin. Everything you'd want out of a small corner saloon with 6ish bars seats and 5 or so tables. I saw someone enjoying what looked like oysters, but did not get a chance to browse the menu. From the looks of it, we are talking about a refined cocktail bar with a wide array of potions at their disposal. I see lots of rum, gin and other spirits you'd expect in a place like this. Well done, thank you for the pick me up. Update: came back again on a Friday night. Super friendly staff, friendly patrons and a wonderful Pimm's cup!”

“Great place to watch Monday night football. Great variety of food to choose from. The atmosphere was fun and lively. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Justin the bartender is experienced willing and able to provide any cocktail you desire. For those that prefer beer, they have a nice variety on tap in addition to bottles. Highly recommend if you are in the area stop by grab a bite or just have beverage. You won't regret it.”

“We went there days in a row since we were staying at the hotel two doors down. The many waitstaff we had all provided friendly, good service. . Actually, we woke to singing from the pub on Sunday morning. They were showing the Irish Gaelic Football Championships and the lads were well into it. The place was packed, white an exciting vibe. The other days were more sedate, but this is a sports pub so fans can be expected. . The first day I had the gourmet burger, which was huge. The pub fries were exceptional. The next day we split shepherd pie and Gangnam wings; we liked them both. The third day I had Buffalo wings with the big basket of tots. I'd Jones'd for tots since I first saw them on the menu, and they didn't disappoint. . For drinks, we'd had various beers and many Jameson & Gingers. The last batch of J-Mos seemed to be made with Sprite rather than Ginger Ale, but we certainly stiff enough. . When back in the area, we'll frequent The Kezar Pub again. Good times.”

“We were looking for a good food and beer place after watching a movie at the Regal Stonestown Galleria (that's another review), and Ocean Ale House came up. It was about 3 in the afternoon on a Sunday, so the place was pretty empty, but I can see how it would be very popular during prime time. Of course, all the reviews rave about the Fried Potatoes ($9), which we can attest to. It was just two of us, and we maybe ate half a serving. Did I mention it's a large serving? I ordered the BLT ($15), which was fantastic. My wife ordered the salmon salad sandwich, which I can't recall the price of, but she thought it was excellent, with plentiful chunks of fish. The service was excellent, with 3 employees periodically checking on us throughout our visit. Of course, we had to wash it all down with beer, of which they have plenty of from a variety of local craft breweries. Ambience-wise, it's pretty ordinary, but they are in the middle of expanding, so I'll reserve judgment for now. Besides, with such good food, beer and service, who cares what the place looks like!”

“Welcome to Ireland 🇮🇪 🇮🇪🇮🇪! This is as close as you will get to Ireland without traveling to Ireland. The bar and restaurant itself is decorated in an Irish theme from floor to ceiling throughout the restaurant & bar that makes you feel you are somewhere in Ireland. It creates this amazing ambience where you feel you have to stay and order a Guinness. This is a five minute drive from the house. It’s safe to say that this is our regular watering hole. This is our favorite spot from the excellent collection of whiskey, and various options of drinks available, to the phenomenal food offerings they have from the Wedge Salad — that is absolutely delicious- to the amazing fish sandwich. French fries are to die for and we also tried the cornbeef & cabbage dinner. Let me tell you something. I’m not really a fan of Cornbeef & Cabbage, however, <<<>>>. The Cornbeef is LEAN and the cabbage is well flavored. They don’t just plop down a big hunk of tasteless cabbage like the other places do. The service here fantastic with each staff member on top of their game with making sure you are attended to. The Bartenders know their drinks and customers well after you go two or three times. Attached to this establishment is a gift shop that sells paraphernalia that you would only find in Ireland. From books, keychains, photos… etc. The prices? A little high. But you get what you pay for because this is not just a place to go out to eat and drink. This is an experience & destination you don’t want to miss. Trust me on this. Give this place a shot!”

“Went here for a conference associated event. The drinks were good although had some unusual flavors and the servers were quick. The DJ set a good mood as well throughout the night. It was decorated Halloween themed. They had some snacks like chicken tenders, melted cheese and honey sandwich, and pizza sandwich which was tasty. Overall a good impression and I would be back!”

“Of all the places in SF, THIS is the place that actually redeems the entire city! I walked in, first time, these guys were EXTREMELY gracious, very friendly. They handed me a menu, let me take any seat in the place, and were VERY communicative with how they planned out the timing of the food, and when it was coming out. And even when it came out sooner than expected, that was not a problem. The atmosphere is pretty dark, but fitting! Hard to imagine this was an abandoned vessel named the Arkansas. Been to other places in the city, and they either upcharged claiming inflation was a reason, even though we're all facing it, or they pulled all sorts of tactics to get you to tip more. This place is honest with their prices, and genuine in their attitudes towards you. I had a rough couple days here, but being here for one meal made it all up! Thanks!”
