“Authentic pub in the heart of Amsterdam! Best thing about this pub, besides the drinks and the coziness, was the bartender! He had such a good vibe and knew all the lyrics to all the songs that were playing and he even has pretty good dancemoves! You can also play darts and the small couches for 2 peoples, or 3 if you wanna cuddle :P, are really comfy!”

“A great place for drinks and food. It looks and feels like an old fashioned 'bruin café', but with a more modern twist with the menu. They have a nice selection of lunch options and a variety of tapas to choose from. Staff was friendly, although we had to wait a bit. It was quite busy, with people meeting for talks and drinks (and games) and others like us to have a relaxed lunch. An easy recommendation.”

“We had a wonderful New Year's Eve at De Slock! We were warmly welcomed with champagne and oliebollen. Dutch records played all night long. The bar staff are very friendly. Unfortunately we were unable to attend the countdown, as the café did not open until after New Year's Eve. Good to know: in Den Burg there are no bars open during New Year's Eve where you can countdown.”

“This pub crawl is just waste of money .free shots are not like a real shot they were like a sweet drink and they will take you to the bars instead of clubs/pubs. The only good part was at the last they will take you to a club that was good apart from that everything was good at all”
