We booked a last minute trip to Chicago and we were connected with Ryan. He gave us so much great information about the town and what to do - we had to make the trip to the Long Bar just to meet him! We are so glad we met Ryan! He was helpful, knowledgeable, suggested beers and drinks. It was such a great time. We felt we were treated as friends - even family - and not tourists. “Stopped in after a wake down the street. Cool old space, beautiful spaces around outside, and is right along the river. Staff was friendly but not super on top of it. It was a weird night for all of us though so chalking that up to just a day. Rueben was good and balanced well, but could have had a bit more on it. Fries were really good. Husband and sister god wraps and said they were decent. Overall, a lovely space with decent food. Would be a good place to have a hang and chill with a cocktail.”

“Pay attention to your credit card receipt at this place. Kitchen was closed when we got there so my husband had 2 drinks that were on special, I had one. Our bill came out to $11. I tipped $5 cash on top of what we paid on a card which was $11. Two days later when I checked my account I noticed I was charged $20. I called the Pub 72 Friday night whoever answered just took a message. So then I called Saturday morning talked to a manager. Explained to her what had happened. She says she will speak to her brother and I would get a phone call by the end of the day or by the morning the next day. No call back.”
