“As per they claimed, 5 years champion in ramen. Walked past this store while looking for lunch in Orchard Central and chanced upon this restaurant. Went in and try. The ramen will take awhile to arrive after you ordered. However it’s worth the wait. The broth is tasty, noodles cooked to al dente, the chashu is very Japanese local standard, texture and doneness is cooked to the point. What’s best is you can order extra toppings and they do not place the extra topping directly onto your bowl, instead it’s served in separate bowl, so to avoid overcrowding your bowl. Nice touch. Highly recommended.”

“Simply overpriced for the food standard and their service. We ordered JabChae, Seafood pancake, Soontofu soup, LA Galbi, and Bulgogi. JabChae taste good but a bit too sweet. Seafood pancake, they use too much flour and not cook enough. Too thick and still sticky inside. Soontofu taste normal. Bulgogi is also normal. LA Galbi is taste good but too expensive for it. Service also not good. Need so long to get staff’s attention to order. Even when we ask them to top up their side, eventually they didn’t do it. Plus they should instruct soontofu comes with rice. Overall, to be honest, I really don’t understand why Google review is over 4. All dishes are overpriced for the quality. There is a lot of good Korean food with reasonable price.”

Kiwami: Ramen & Gyoza Bar (sunte C Shity)

“Visited on a sat night where the crowd mostly subsided. They have a 1 for 1 drinks promo which was worth it, but i found it weird that i cant stack the citibank promo (min spend $65) because the waiter said i already took the 1 for 1 promo. I asked if they could exclude the cost of the 1 for 1, and only count the regular item price, but apparently it was not allowed? Anyway, the fried rice came out first and it was burnt! I usually dont return a dish as much as possible, but this was beyond edible as it had a bitter aftertaste. Thankfully, the female waiter on shift noticed our expression and helped us replaced it. Ramen was tasty though. Overall, food was fine but the experience was not really pleasant. May or may not return, but hopefully its better the next time if i do return.”

“Pork ribs was tender, soup was peppery and tasty. Braised pork knuckle was cooked nicely with fragrant soy sauce aroma and the skin was so soft. Great comfort food during rainy day.”

“Have always enjoyed ramen keisuke. The broth can be adjusted to lighter tasting(less salty), flavored egg is good. Understaffed so the staff are working very hard, kudos to their effort.”

“Watami quality has gone down the drain in recent years. Last time used to go to the Buona Vista outlet, good food good service. Now the food quite meh, one of the service staff was quite rude. We were asking for the tamago yaki to be served hot, since some restaurant serve it cold. The service staff (didn’t manage to note down his name) replied in a very condescending tone, how hot you want it to be? When actually it was already served hot. He could have replied saying it was hot. Anyways food were served promptly but felt the taste was quite lacking.”

930 Yishun Ave 2, #02-28, Singapore 769098

“This place is for quick bites. The price is significantly high for the food provided. The pork has no favour and the salad is just vegetables with salad. I would have eaten this at Food courts and be satisfied but this is a restaurant. The tea is so bland. Pass by this if you have other options.”
