“Great food at reasonable prices. I discovered this local restaurant back in August and have been here for 4 times now. Inside the restaurant is quite spacious so even when I came during busy lunch time, seats were always available. Their Udon bowls are simple but flavourful. I always make sure to order one when I visited. The Gyu Suki Nabe hot pot is also very delicious. A hot pot dish that suitable for 1 person. Their eel rice is very good as well. The drinks are ok. I usually order the yuzu/lychee soda. I’ve only tried the Mochi dessert here but didn’t like it as it’s a bit too sweet for me. The service and the staffs are good. They ask what you want, serve and go. Not chatty/ small talk. The payment process is a bit slow, sometimes it takes more than 5mins to get my bills but maybe because they’re understaffed as I saw the person who is in charge of payment also serve in the kitchen/ serving the foods. Overall, I have great experience with Nishikian and would recommend you guys to give it a try.”
