“At first, the perception I had of the place was excellent; I really wanted to live here. But after the first night, everything changed drastically. It is worrying that they have such a good rating; It's misleading. I rented a 2D+2B apartment in the west tower, looking into the park. My experience: 1. After signing, they told me I had to pay 2 months of guarantee instead of 1 as we had agreed. We're already off to a bad start. In total I had to pay $1,125,593, just as a guarantee for a 2D+2B apartment. Crazy. You must also leave 2 checks for 2 months' worth. 2. On our first day, we woke up with bites all over our bodies. We thought they might be mosquitoes, but every morning we woke up with more and more bites. After investigating, we found out that they were "BEDBUGS", a pest of insects that feed on the warm blood of people who are sleeping. They cause wounds, itching, redness and swelling. The real estate company paid for the disinfestation, but no one from the administration was present the day the pest specialist came. This person sprayed a liquid chemical on the walls, floor, furniture and NEW beds; all stained and dripped. Later we had to clean and dry ourselves. We also took all our clothes to a laundromat as a precaution. Horrible experience. 3. In the advertising they say big NO COMMISSION RENTAL, but they force you to make a 'reservation' by paying 100 thousand pesos. This money is not added to the rent payment and is not returned under any circumstances. 4. Close to the town of La Legua; Neighbors have reported windows broken by crazy bullets. The electric fence does not work and the parking lots are robbed. 5. Bad smells. The smell of food comes through the bathroom and kitchen window all day. On Saturday and Sunday there is no staff to remove garbage from the shaft; This causes it to accumulate and clog the ducts. The piled garbage has even reached the 15th floor. 6. The grass is burned and full of holes because people do not take care of the green areas; Dogs constantly urinate in the surroundings. 7. The apartments do not use normal keys, they use NFC cards, they provide 1 per resident. If it stays inside the apartment, you will have to pay 80 thousand pesos just for asking them to open the door for you. And if you lose it you will have to pay an additional fine. They will only open the door to you during office hours; otherwise you will have to sleep somewhere else that night. 8. The large window in the bedroom is very difficult to clean, if not impossible. They gave it to me all dirty and full of splashed mud. I complained to the person on the day of delivery and they lied to me telling me that they cleaned these windows once a month. 9. If your apartment faces the park, you will have artificial light throughout the night; Even if you lower the roller blind, your bedroom will still light up while you sleep. 10. Dog fights all the time. Dogs barking on balconies at anything that moves. Uncontrolled screams of children and adults in the park. Zero respect for people who live in the same space. 11. They do not receive food orders; You literally have to go out on the street yourself to receive your order on the spot, the delivery person will not wait for you for long. 12. I could go on describing how unprofessional and poor Parque Toledo is but unfortunately Google limits these opinions to 400 characters. 13. We lived here for less than 1 month and it was hell. Finally, they kept 1 of the 2 months of guarantee that I paid for terminating the contract early, that is, they also had the shame of fining me and keeping more than 500 thousand pesos out of my pocket for wanting to leave. Given the exhaustion and stress I experienced in those days, I immediately accepted the offer, but it was still unfair due to all the damages, bad times, health risks, losses, loss of time and money. I preferred to leave it like this and leave this place as soon as possible.”
