Kale Realty
4.7
( 8 reviews )

First Floor, 2447 N Ashland Ave, Chicago, IL 60614, United States

“I received speedy and immediate assistance from the Kale agent who assisted me through my home purchase. The property was previously on Contingency status but as a result of encouragement from my agent, I was able to put in an offer. My offer didn't just receive acceptance but the agent worked relentlessly with the seller agent until they were able to have only me as the prospective buyer on the house. I secured that business property within a calendar month of making the offer. That was amazing and unusual. Thanks again for the relentless effort of my agent from Kale Jessica Gilbert.”

Gc Realty & Development, Llc (r)

219 E Irving Park Rd, Roselle, IL 60172, United States

“I don't normally write reviews. But if I had a really good experience, I take the time to write one. I haven't had any transactions with GC realty yet. But I used their rental reports feature once for my condo and Shea got in contact with me to see if I had any q's about it. That's how I know him. He's very knowledgeable from a rental property pricing/investing standpoint. I have really high standards when it comes to selecting businesses and vendors and Shea met my standards on the initial convo. If I expand my rental portfolio one day, I will definitely select him to manage my properties. He gave me really good points on how I should set my rent price. Then he helped me with a referral for commercial real estate agent. His name is Duke (also works for GC Realty). He's just as smart as Shea and I'm saying that from our first conversation. They both went beyond my expectations and gained my trust in taking care of what I need done.”

Urban Abodes

3923 N Ashland Ave, Chicago, IL 60613, United States

“Overall, I had a pretty decent experience with Urban Abodes and their leasing team. Their response time was very fast and I was able to get a tour scheduled within days of getting in touch. I signed a place with them a few days ago. Percy David was my leasing agent. Some areas of improvement: 1. The online application process was all over the place. There were two separate and very outdated portals that I had to work through for the application process. A consolidated portal and a clearer step-by-step process would have made everything much easier. 2. My leasing agent, Percy, claimed to have "over 10 years of experience" but failed to communicate crucial details about the application process. He made an assumption that I knew the income requirements needed for a co-signer and it ended up stalling the application process and costing me an extra application fee once my first co-signer was denied. Percy offered to cover the extra application fee but never committed to his word. Percy also had no insightful information to provide about the actual unit during the tour, besides "Wow, this place is really nice"... I had to ask directly for basic information on utilities, trash, rent, etc. Overall, I would suggest that Percy gets a few more years of experience and develops a higher level of integrity.”

Vesta Preferred Realty

2525 N Elston Ave A110, Chicago, IL 60647, United States

“Vesta Preferred has a fabulous team. I worked with Katie Carr on my search for the perfect condo. She has a wealth of real estate knowledge and made the entire process a joy. Once my offer was accepted, Jenny immediately emailed to introduce herself as my transaction coordinator. She is extremely organized, meticulous, and communicative. I felt clear-minded and guided by all throughout the entire process!”

Irpino Real Estate

4234 N Broadway, Chicago, IL 60613, United States

“My experience with IRPINO Real Estate in selling my condo was nothing short of exceptional. Dominic and his dedicated team helped me navigate the complexities of my first Chicago real estate sale with ease, making what could have been an overwhelming process a very manageable transaction. As a first-time seller, I naturally had a myriad of questions. The IRPINO team not only patiently provided clear answers but also demonstrated a sympathetic understanding of the anxieties that come with selling property for the first time. Their hands-on approach was evident in every aspect of the sale. From allowing me to creatively use my own furniture and decor to stage the home, to offering the comfort of their office space during showings, they went above and beyond to make the process comfortable with a personal touch. Their guidance in selecting a seasoned attorney and reassurance during those potentially stressful moments, (waiting on lenders and buyers and all the various time-consuming interactions) was invaluable. The team's meticulous organization and creativity shone through in the seamless scheduling of showings, allowing ample time for me and my dogs to vacate the premises, well-written social media marketing, amazing photographs and interactive walk-through 3D images for the online presence. Every interaction was handled with utmost professionalism, yet I always felt like I was more than just a client - almost like family. Choosing IRPINO Real Estate was the best decision for my sale in Buena Park. Their deep knowledge of Chicago, the local market, and their exceptional ability to guide a first-time seller like myself through a successful and profitable transaction, earns them my highest recommendation.”

“I am a local photographer and have had the pleasure of shooting at this venue many times. This venue is such a gem! The ceremony space has gorgrous natural light and tall ceilings which work beautifully for photographs and it is honestly a dream to shoot here. The staff is always SO welcoming to guests and vendors. If you're looking to get married in central illinois, this venue is a must see.”

The Mason

180 N Ada St, Chicago, IL 60607, United States

“Setting up with the appt was easy however the time we requested was not the time that was actually set. That would have been a problem but Erica was too kind and came back from lunch to accommodate us. She was so professional yet friendly. She saw how excited I was and didn’t even look at me crazy 🤣🤣 Although we are only looking for temporary accommodations, she talked to us and showed us all of the amenities. I am so glad we got to see The Mason and pray that we will be able to stay there for a while!”

Roosevelt Collection Lofts

1135 S Delano Ct, Chicago, IL 60605, United States

“My husband and I had the most fantastic experience during our stay at Roosevelt Collection Lofts! Relocating from Houston to Chicago could have been stressful, but the leasing staff made it incredibly smooth. Katie and Jessica were always there to assist, and the numerous resident events they organized helped me connect with my neighbors and create a sense of community. One of the things that stood out to me was how welcoming the staff was to my dog. They went the extra mile, even offering treats to make him feel at home. The concierge and package handler (I believe her name was Wendy) were always friendly and helpful, adding to the warm atmosphere. Maintenance requests were promptly addressed, sometimes even on the same day! This level of responsiveness and efficiency made me feel well taken care of throughout my stay. What truly impressed me was that the friendliness of the staff never wavered after I signed my lease. They remained genuinely kind and attentive to any concerns I had, which made my experience at RC truly exceptional. I wish I could remember everyone's name to thank them personally. Their kindness and understanding during my time there were appreciated more than they know. Life has taken me on a new journey, and while I would have loved to stay, my growing family and rising rent prices led us to purchase a home. If you're looking for a place with a welcoming and caring community, exceptional staff, and a wide range of resident events, RC is the perfect choice!”

Blueground | Furnished Apartments In Chicago
4.3
( 8 reviews )

448 N La Salle Dr 9th Floor, Chicago, IL 60654, United States

“I have done corporate housing for years, worked in management consulting and have always had a great experience. When looking for housing in Chicago for my MBA I came across Blueground, which seemed to have pretty nice furnished apartments. What drew me in most were the good reviews about good customer service support. After moving in on Jan 1st into their apartment in Chicago (at the Fisher Building) I was taken aback to say the least. The cleanliness was subpar - with the sheets, towels and floor all not just unclean, but also torn, stains on the walls, and sticky. Specific to this location (the Fisher Building) the train is SUPER noisy and is right outside your window/building, and runs every 5 minutes, with the announcers making loud announcements regarding the train schedule and delays... this is not something ear plugs or a fan can fix. Lastly, the fees are insane. Utilities are $300 PER MONTH, which for a 5 months stay came out to $1,800 ... crazy. Then there is a $450 cleaning fee after you leave, and then there are up charged taxes on top of that. And this is with every apartment you book... anywhere. So you're basically looking at $1K+ PER MONTH additional to what you see on their website. The utility and cleaning fee are just ridiculous to say the least. Lastly, when I reached out to Blueground a day after moving in to help me relocate or terminate early (with a 30 day notice per their policy) they had hidden a clause in the agreement that they will charge $5K+ FOR EACH MONTH if terminated early, and not the $2400 which I was initially paying. Which meant that even if I moved out after giving them a 30 day notice, I'd be out $8K... FOR JUST ONE MONTH. Borderline SCAM. I'm still surprised to read so many good reviews, I'm assuming a lot of them were shorter term rentals like a week or so, and then the rest were from family/friends of management/employees. If you are a professional, in school or someone who just appreciates good customer service, please look elsewhere. I guarantee you the annoyance and bad customer service is not worth it. I'd rather pay a bit more to just have a decent experience than pay $15K to have a HORRIBLE experience. Never. Again. I will post this to my universities page (UChicago/Booth) and other groups to warn people about Blueground since you're unable to see reviews about specific properties and that is why they've been relatively under the radar. I also asked a few people who used them in the past and the company allegedly gets some bad reviews removed, which makes sense given that 4+ stars just does not make sense for what they offer.”

No Chicago
4.1

1210 S Indiana Ave, Chicago, IL 60605, United States

“This place is to die for. It is so worth it to live here. Every single day feels like you are living at a hotel. The amenities are state of the art. The apartments are beautifully designed and spacious. You can tell they put so much thought into every aspect of the building. It is technologically advanced. Gym has everything. Views are beautiful. I could go on. Don’t hesitate to sign that lease EDIT: Changing my Review from 5 to 1 star. After living here for 1.5 years. There somethings that I feel affect the QOL experience here at NEMA 1. The elevators: The elevators at NEMA have got to have one of the worst wait times. 15 mins+ Also get ready to be packed in an elevator like sardines. I had to walk 24 flights of stairs from the 4th floor because all the elevators coming up was full To add, I have had to climb 28 floors to get to my car in the morning because none of the elevators decided to work making me late for work numerous times. Absolutely ridiculous. They don’t seem to care either 2. The hallway does not have AC so it can get muggy and stink from all the heat 3. Internet gets throttled and can get slow 4. Pear chef: the buildings own food service has overpriced and very low quality food. 5. The building was built in 2019 but the hallways already look like an old apartment with wood chipping, paint peeling 6. We have had our appliances break multiple times in our first year here. Our freezer ice maker and the garbage disposal button is so badly placed it get a water stuck in there and then stops working 7. For the love of God this place cannot get their stupid garage gates to work. I don’t know whose brilliant idea was it to add another gate at the 5th floor. That stupid thing has a mind of its own and never opens making me late for work. It’s so stupid. $300 per month parking and it’s driving me crazy”

“Since the first day I moved in, I have had countless issues with this apartment. For what you are paying, it sure doesn’t feel like a river north high rise. I moved into a place with a semi functioning toilet, and non functioning dishwasher. It took over 6 different maintenance appointments for them to finally replace the dishwasher and toilet. The toilet was replaced with a smaller one, leaving disgusting brown residue on the floor (that used to be covered up by a larger toilet base). Since then, my dog scratched the carpet at a door frame, and that has not yet been taken care of. I reported it 3.5 months ago… now, that it is the coldest time of the year, my heat goes out intermittently. Seemingly nice people working here, just terrible service for what you pay for… oh yea, and a cockroach came up through my kitchen sink drain and literally bit me”

“0 stars for the leasing office. If the apartment has been rented and you have scheduled showings for it is a common decency to just call off the showing. People take their time out of their day to come in, some need to travel so please be respectful of us, your possible tenants. And maybe it wasn’t intended to be but at the end it was a bait and switch because i got offered to see an apartment thats the same price but worse than original one and the one thats drastically more expensive, so i declined. Thank you for nothing.”
