“Management is very disrespectful, they made us park far away from our parking spot because we asked for a closer spot. Then they put a tow away sticker on our vehicle for parking in a parking spot they said was ours. They changed our parking like 3 times in retaliation for asking for maintenance and calling them out for having my vehicle towed illegally and without warning. Not even a courtesy call, since the office staff had been giving us a hard time. We pay our rent on time every month and don’t bother anyone yet they retaliate against us for maintenance request. Who do you reach out to when you have an issue with the office staff? I reached out to Tim who is allegedly the manager and he refused to meet with me or hear me out. Never got a call from Tim with no resolve. He hides in his office. These people are so petty and disrespectful. I will be terminating my lease once it’s up in 4 months and I would never recommend anyone move here. Take your hard earned money somewhere else where it’s valued and appreciated!!!”

“When we first moved in the ac didn’t work. They sent someone out 5 times to fix it and it was never fixed. It took almost a month to get this fixed. This was in the dead middle of summer and it was hot. We had to buy our own ac unit and they reimbursed us. It cost us $400. They told us it was going to be a check and never sent it to us. My boyfriend had to take time away from his job to pick it up because they held onto it for weeks, without notice that they still had it. Second when renting this property did not inform us of the kids in the neighborhood who have been constantly throwing rocks at our house. They broke a window and they told us we had to make a police report or we would have to pay for it. They also did not disclose that it has happened multiple times before we started renting this property and now we’ve had to call the police 5 times because these kids keep doing it. I am afraid to even go out into my back yard because I’m afraid to get assaulted. These aren’t baby rocks either they are throwing big rocks and almost broke my bedroom window. We have multiple police reports and they even caught the kid but let him go and did not even inform their parents. As the police were at my house these same kids were saying “f the cops”. Cops informed us of multiple break ins and to the neighborhood. Ultimate properties knew about this because the guy replacing the window informed us he has had to come out at least 5 to 6 times to replace the same window. We have not heard of any action being done by ultimate properties in regards of this situation. This should have been told to us before move in. We try to contact them and get no response unless it’s on the portal and that takes days. We are fed up with not feeling safe in our own home. Make sure before you move in you know what your getting into with this company.”

“I have lived in this complex for over 5 years. I have had issues with the apartment since the beginning. When we moved into the unit the carpet was not new and covered with stains and odors. The kitchen sink faucet was originally a bathroom sink faucet, with the sink being too shallow to even do dishes. Our microwave door was originally broken but they glued it together. There were large gaps in the window seals that they never grouted. Upon living in the unit we had continuous issues with our AC leaking into our apartment. It was an actual water fall in our apartment for months. Management kept saying that it was condensation which is incorrect and just a way to push the problem to the side. We put multitude of maintenance requests in only for them to poke around and replace the air filter. We had to keep 5 gallon buckets under the AC unit along with towels to try and catch the water and splatters. This went on for 6 months until we finally had the previous manager Chris enter the unit and see for himself. Only then did they have an AC technician come out. Turns out it wasn’t just “condensation”. I have a serve allergy to black mold and can only imagine the type of water damage that occurred. The only thing that management did to compensate us was with a carpet cleaning voucher, which did not have a expiration on. Upon move out I used this coupon for the final carpet cleaning and the front office said they would accept. When I got my final move out bill they did not honor it and said I had to use it while living in the unit. I tried to communicate my frustrations in hopes that they would reimburse the move out costs only to never get a reply back(common occurrence with staff). Again the carpet was not new when we moved in and we lived in there for another 5 plus years on top of that. They seriously aren’t going to replace the entire carpet in the unit after that much wear and tear? After reading reviews it seems the whole complex probably has mold in the units. My last issue with this complex is the unsupervised children. I am in the service industry so I tend to have an opposite schedule from the norm. I would hear children curse, scream, and yell all day. I would watch kids throw balls, rocks, and other materials at the buildings, cars, and each other. I emailed the office about this occurrence and tried to post in the portal. I got nothing back, no surprise. I would not recommend living here unless you want to pay crazy amount of money for appliances that constantly break, mold, bad insulation, and headaches.”

We transferred from club Cancun in 2018-2019 thinking we were moving into a “ Luxury” apartment space. We were deceived. This place is NO WHERE NEAR LUXURY! THIS IS A SECTION 8 Housing development now! The workers in the front office is a JOKE! Bri is absolutely the WORST human I’ve ever encountered! Not only did she yell and accuse me of threatening a maintenance worker….(who by the way came into my house and yelled at my wife before leaving)…because I wanted to talk to this man alone about what happened in MY RENTED SPACE! She is a absolute joke! I warned the office many times of there horrible service and they shrug 🤷‍♀️ and say “Oh Well” Management? There is none. The pictures you see were two days after getting our bathroom re sprayed because the “Luxury” bathroom was peeling? They WILL CHARGE FOR ANY DAMAGE YOU CAUSE AS A TENET! my children broke a glass while playing on accident they charged us 300$!!! We needed a hole patched in the wall. They charged 150$!!!!! Just an FYI I worked at MSL Luxury apartments on Ocotillo and Ellsworth. THAT IS LUXURY. Free snacks, soda, have as many guests as you want at the pool, all repair damage is covered (As it should be because we’re RENTING!), front office has the BEST customer service you can imagine, and even went out their way to give free services throughout the year. There is so much NEGATIVITY AND BAD ENERGY HERE IT MAKES YOU SICK! BTW this is a Immigrant housing community! There are foreigners from all over the world now living in the single apartment complex because of the Intel corporation next-door. They walk outside in the middle of streets. They also group up and stare at you whenever you’re doing anything! 😱 Don’t worry the office treats these people with immaculate customer service lol. Remember there gone in 5 YEARS! Hope it was worth it!! To end this review I just want to say. You guys left me disappointed, and very sure that I will never move to another apartment in my life. “It's been some time that I have lived here and it's due time i write a review of my experience. 9 months ago I was hunting down a new residence, I toured over 12 locations spanning from South Mountain to Gilbert, Mesa to Queen Creek. Of all the locations I toured this one stood out for these primary reasons: 1. Quiet area with very few businesses or bars surrounding it 2. Safe and clean property, well maintained grounds and just enough amenities that I didn't feel I was being charge for things I wouldn't take advantage of 3. Amazingly friendly staff that had no issues being real with you, I didn't feel coerced into making any decisions 4. No extra monthly charges like parking or trash pick up that I don't need by any means 5. Reasonably priced Tina was able to provide me a tour of the actual apartment I had my eyes set on and Aries helped me with my move and paperwork and was extremely patient with all of my questions. This team is the reason I want to stay here long term. Any question I have or work-order I need Aries, is there to help me out. The rates and community are exactly what I needed. The proximity to the grocery store, freeway, and other businesses is perfect for quick trips or weekly hauls. I'm so grateful I found Alante, good luck getting rid of me!”

I absolutely love the swimming pool area that’s located on the rooftop with breathtaking scenic views of the valley. Quite impressive. The property looks well maintained and the apartment units are very nice and upgraded. I was given a very thorough tour of the entire Core property by leasing consultant Morgan Meyer. She did a superb job showing me the entire property and explaining all the different amenities they offer at the Core. She answered all my leasing questions. Thank you Morgan for a great tour. “UPDATE: two cars, including my neighbor, were broken into last night. Don’t give me the “crime has no address” stuff because this place and the people allowed to live here have just been going downhill in the short 5 months I’ve been here. I’ve never experienced anything like it. Just don’t rent here if you care about quality of living. I’ve tried to be patient with this place, but I’m done. We’ve only lived here 5 MONTHS and it’s been one problem after another since day one. So here’s just a short list of the issues: 1. Leasing office ignores emails regarding maintenance requests/apartment issues. I’ve emailed them at least 6 times trying to get a shelf for our fridge. They either respond with some excuse, or just don’t respond. 2. Our fridge was missing the middle shelf when we moved in. I’ve asked for one countless times and each time, I get an excuse or they just ignore me. 3. I’ve had a leak under the bathroom sink for 2+ weeks now. They responded to the first email, but not my reply which was answers to their questions. Crickets after that. Same with a problem with the front door. More crickets. 4. There are cops outside my building at least once a month. We’ve been here 5 months and I’ve seen cops here 5 times. No joke. I spoke with one of the officers last time and HE used to live here and said it got really bad once this place changed management. They don’t even do full background checks anymore, according to him. In his words “you don’t know what kind of people are living next to you.” I do not feel safe living here anymore. 5. People do NOT pick up their dogs poop. It’s everywhere. It stinks in the heat and you have to watch your step. 6. The water coming out of the bathroom faucet smells like rotten eggs. Not sure what this is about but it’s nasty. 7. Our apartment was NOT clean when we moved in (I took a lot of pictures of this). Pieces of the floors were chipped away or just missing (of which I noted on the move in check list). I didn’t notice this when I toured the apartment a few weeks prior to moving in. Outlets coming off the walls (see photo). The place is just falling apart from day one. 8. And last but not least…the NOISE. There must be zero insulation in the ceiling because I can hear every single thing my upstairs neighbor does. It’s like he has a pet T Rex up there with all the stomping. If I am in my bathroom the same time as my upstairs neighbor, I kid you not I can him using the toilet. It is so uncomfortable. Imagine getting ready for work in the morning and hearing the person above you peeing. Listen to the noise in the video I included. That’s the upstairs person just walking. If it’s THAT loud on an iPhone video, imagine how loud it is in person. It gives me anxiety to have to listen to this all the time. 9. The people in the office are all very nice but nothing gets done. I don’t know if they just delete emails because they don’t want to deal with it or are so inefficient that they get lost every time. Either way, this is unprofessional and no way to treat your tenants. Other reviews have stated this place will try and charge you $$$$ when you move out. Good luck because I’ve documented EVERYTHING in this place since day one. And I will do the same upon move out. There will not be one tiny mark on anything from us and I WILL have proof of that, including keeping the carpet pristine. Look elsewhere. This place is trash. There are far nicer apartments in the area for about the same rent. I moved in here being unfamiliar with the area. I regret signing this lease here and cannot wait to move out. It’s a waste of my money.”
