“Following HomeLight’s recommendation, I contacted Danielle Dowell in Chicago last summer. After explaining that our condo was rented and under lease until May 31 this year, Danielle offered my wife and me great advice on when to list. After a thorough market analysis, she also recommended the right listing price. Our South Loop condo was listed on a Thursday and we had a contract by the following Monday. Her team was flawless at every step along the way. She has a great network of relationships that made the process of selling our former home as smooth as possible from nearly 1,000 miles away. When we closed on the sale, my wife and I walked away with nearly $50,000 more than we anticipated two years earlier. HomeLight delivered on the promise! DJC”

“The staff at Avalon Mission Bay are extremely friendly and helpful and make you feel at home. Faye in particular sits at the desk for Phase 3 and she is the best. She will always say goodmorning to me on my way out to work and ready to chat anytime. She also looks out for my car when I park in the garage and will take special care of my packages. She goes way out of her way to take care of us in Phase 3.”

“(This review is specifically about the AVA55 employees/departments mentioned and is not reflective of the building as a whole or those who are not notated generally nor specifically) I was an AVA resident for the past 2 years (recently moved out a few days ago) and I wanted to highlight the amazing team members this building has/had during my stay. All security officers have been extremely friendly and personalable - granted their job is provide that sense of safety, not once have I had any major security issues and they were always tentative and aware of things going on within the building, as well as, helpful with any questions they were able to answer. Given the location, I am more than certain their compensation for dealing with the neighborhood "locals" 24/7 isn't what it should be, as I am sure the everyday person would rather not have to deal with them the way these team members do on a daily. Upkeep and cleaning staff are incredible! Most buildings do get the occasional trash here and there - there are hundreds of people living in the coomunity so there is bound to be crumbs, pet fur, etc in hallways and other communal spaces, BUT the team is quick to remedy this. AVA being an extremely pet friendly community, dogs do urinate in hallways and elevators on occasian and the team as a whole ensures it's cleaned immediately. Every morning I see the cleaning gentleman wiping the elevators, strolling the floors with a vacuum, similar to me seeing the ladies vacuuming the lobby, mopping, and cleaning the glass in the lobby. Their roles between, I believe, 4 members is no easy task and they are always doing something when I see them. Maintenance team, specicfically Bo and R...(I've forgotten his name...). Like any living space, home or apartment, there are bound to be issues and things of this sort but Bo and his team are on it as fast and to the best of their abilities. These 2 have been extremely friendly and were even sad to see me leave. I see some other reviews knocking the maintenance team for the elevators specifically, however, this is an OTIS issue and does not pertain to their roles directly, which they have always been the upmost help with. They both have even go as far as checking in with me during my move out to see if there was anyway they could assist, which speaks volumes of both their characters and how they see the residents of the AVA community. Last but defintely not least, David B. To my recollection, David might have been the Supervisor who I initally signed my lease with 2-3 years ago but regardless, he assisted in lease renewals as well as was extremely transparent and helpful during the last few months of uncertainty on my end, on whether or not I would stay with AVA for 2024. Though I may no longer be a resident, if I were to be back to AVA, I would be happy to work with David in the future. His "can help" attitude sets him apart from his colleagues by miles and should be the professional standard the rest of the office employees should strive to be at; whether it be morning/afternoon greets, to even running into him at the local Starbucks, David was alway polite and casual-professional in the best way.”

“I love living here! Since the building is in the heart of the city, you can easily go anywhere you want. The view from the upper floors is excellent. There is a parking area with valet service. The building has a gym, pool and barbecue terrace.”
