Management and staff including the new assistant Manager, lovely leasing ladies, and maintenance crew under Cindy’s leadership are all very professional and courteous. Top that off with second to none quality amenities that include a workout center with free weights, resort size swimming pools, huge barbecue grills, computer room and a very nice pool table, and you have Luxury Apartment homes with resort style living. Oh and did I mention the standard one and two car parking garages that come standard with each unit? Yep, you can walk right into your luxury apartment home from your attached garage… I therefore give the Vale, my highest rating of 5 Stars. “After over two years, I'm leaving Camden Post Oak for my own reasons, but I just want to say what a great management team runs this building. I have never seen better management anywhere. The maintenance folks (Luis et al) are also outstanding. Most of my maintenance requests were addressed with 24 hours. Extraordinary. And the concierge staff (Hugh and Seth and the rest) became friends. They sincerely want to help. These are all very nice people at Camden. I will miss them.”

“If you want to become a part of history, if you like to drown yourself with great restaurants and bars all within 5 minutes of walking, this is the place to live. I'm not a resident yet of this beautiful historic building but I will be soon. Amenities are super cool. I loved the entrance. You feel a grand welcome by the door person and by the huge lobby area with super cool Chandler lights. Ohh, I almost forgot, there is a huge balcony on the 2nd floor where residents can relax and enjoy the true downtown view, people in the streets. I had my tour yesterday, and Samantha was extremely helpful showing me around and she went out of her way to accommodate my needs with various rental options. I am going to apply today and dearly hope that I get accepted. Can't wait to live as a resident of Rice Lofts soon.”

They were kind enough to arrange for my mom to sign the closing paperwork at an office closer to her new apartment since she’s not comfortable driving on the freeway (even as a passenger). We worked with Andree and Lucas and they gave us honest answers and treated my elderly mom with respect. I will certainly use them again if I need to sell my own home or help a friend.”

Obviously, if you have no where else to go or are in a crunch, it’ll do but you would do yourself a great big favor by avoiding this place at all costs. If you have kids, don’t move here. If you have pets, don’t move here. If you have anxiety, don’t move here. As a woman, i hated it here. The men are weird. If you don’t want anybody playing on your account and with your money for 6 months straight, don’t move here. If you don’t want to have your car towed once a week, don’t move here. If you don’t want to deal with pissy attitudes from management AND from maintenance staff, do not move here. This is thee worst apartment I’ve ever lived in regardless of time frame or location. There’s never any parking. It’s dirty. Outdated. Really not worth the trouble at all. Avoid at all costs if you can. Don't let some fresh paint fool you either.”

“I lived here for 6 years, and for the whole time, when Aliso took over the community(from Elan), the pool was constantly closed, area wasn't maintained, the bbqs were broken but never repaired. When I look at the review, it's safe to say that it hasn't changed one bit. In addition, the staff could never respond. I want to emphasize that the pool's water was green, and the floor was covered in algae.”

I’ve appreciated the communication and timeliness of our maintenance staff always very kind and approachable. Everything is NEW, despite being around so much, it’s relatively quiet as well. “I lived here about lil more than half a year For 1. The apartment staff were great. They were always very helpful and made complete understanding of every situation we were having. For 2. We never had to worry about them not responding to our maintenance request. For 3. We never had any bug problems. And for 4. No apartment is perfect but they were the apartment with the least amount of issues and with the best deal. It was a great spot to live and I use them as a standard for my new place and any apartment I look for after that.”

She is super knowledgeable, friendly and has taken care of all of our needs and problems. The residents and team are lucky to have her! Overall if you’re looking for a nice apartment in South Central Houston, this is a great place to live that’s close to everything, spacious, and a good value. “We absolutely LOVED living at TRC in Phase II for a little over a year. The amenities were great, we loved the walking trail and the pools, and the community was always so well-kept. If I didn't have to move for work, we definitely would have lived here as long as we stayed in Houston. Extremely pet friendly, super close to the interstate and shopping. It was honestly perfect! The best part - their rates are extremely competitive for the area & quality of the community, they gave us an amazing renewal rate (only about $20 more than our current lease), and we received almost our entire deposit back! Any issues we had were promptly solved by management or maintenance, and they made sure we experienced as little stress as possible. Have already recommended several friends to live here, and will continue to do so!”

“*Update*- I am still giving it 5 stars. I've received notifications when the gates broke as well as when there was a fire inspection. I am pleased to say that I haven't had any issues so far. I moved in recently and everything has been exceptional, relative to other reviews. I was nervous due to the negative reviews, but I decided to take my chances because I really loved the floor plan. Will try to sum it up and break down into categories so you can skip to the part that most interest you. Leasing Staff: Leading with the lack of communication. I don't believe Martina nor the Leasing manager ( Female) intentionally ignore and/or put off the residents. I honestly believe they are overworked. We have to understand that there are over 100 residents here so we have to be patient and understanding that there are only two leasing consultants. I do feel as if the guys do the bare minimum. I haven't interacted with them much, but the 3 times I was in the office, I noticed they were ducked off in a corner on their laptops. Granted, that could be their duties, but things would run more efficient if they would help. The first time I toured the property it seemed like neither leasing agent wanted to tour me, because they were so overwhelmed with work. I did get toured, but the only reason part of me wanted to live there was the floor plan. I decided to give it one last shot and toured again. This time, the leasing staff were energetic and thoroughly explained the property and amenities. Martina Barton showed me around and I couldn't have been more pleased. She informed me that they were having a move in special so I submitted an application the same day. I had a deadline to move so things went quickly for me. I submitted an application on Friday and moved in on Tuesday. Maintenance: I have no complaints. I've already submitted 3 minor requests and they were addressed the same day. Neighbors/Grounds: This property is so quiet and beautiful! The only foot traffic you really see are people walking their dogs. People do need to clean up after their pets though. Not sure why they don't; seeing that bags are provided. Everyone is so friendly! The pond is disgusting though. Wish they would clean it. Maybe even if it is once every 2 months. They even pressure wash the stairwells!! Unit: My unit was thoroughly cleaned prior to me moving in. I don't have any bugs or pests. I love that I have a storage closet on my balcony. I can keep my cleaning tools there. The only con is that the apartment doors are inside a hallway that echoes every time a door is shut or someone talks so it does sound extremely loud. I am ok with noise so it doesn't really bother me that much, but I can see it bothering others if people are going in and out all day. another thing is the washer. It is extremely loud even with the door shut. Again, this is something I can tolerate, but others may not want to. Summary: I enjoy this property and would recommend to others. I did get a garage to minimize any type of damage or theft to my vehicle. Not saying the truck in the other review wasn't stolen or broken into, but there are a lot of luxury cars that are parked in the regular parking spaces so I don't think this type of thing occurs often. Luxury being ( Tesla, BMW, Mercedes, Cadillacs)”

“Image being without HOT WATER for days!! 12/30 12/31 1/1 1/2. Just imagine going into your NEW YEAR with no HOT water, having to boil water to take a bath or wash your dishes SMH, and the office will be closed until January 2nd 2024. These slum lords have no care in the world. Guess it's pay your rent and deal with whatever happens. It's just getting worse and worse over here. But they keep the front clean by the office. So the new people who come to check out the apartments think its ok around here. Pool always closed in Summer, dumpster always full with trash all on the ground around dumpster. SEWAGE pipes always busted with waste everywhere. Plus they take forever to fix something. Please look around the complex before you sign your lease. And it's a bad rat and roach problem also other neighbors have informed me of. And it's a lot of empty apartments open that local crackheads are going in and out at night. But since the office employees just sit in the office and don't walk the property they don't see the pulled off window screens and open doors. It really feels good knowing people get to live for free, while tenants get harassed for dumb stuff likes what's on your porch THE COMPLEX need 3 trash bins per trash area ITS TO MANY PEOPLE IN THE COMPLEX for only 2 trash bins at each trash area. Stop being cheap and get more dumpsters or pay for more pick ups a week!!! Some buildings have no lights at night which makes the area dangerous and unsafe to walk through. Get it together and please give people new blinds if they have lived at the property more then a year it makes the buildings look so tacky with all the raggedy blinds I hate I had to leave a 1 star”
