Bruised or rotten vegetables, this week I got chocolate sauce a coffee house mixer that has no use. Can't drink it, can't use it in a recipe, it's for making mocha at a coffee house. Do us all a favor don't take non nutritional food stuff as donations. I now have to figure out how to live on 2 cans of green beans and a frozen turkey and a set of rolls three days out of date for 2 weeks.”

“Absolutely LOVE the Ecology center, and especially their Eco Tots program. We had so much fun that we went twice in one week. My daughters and my nephew had so much fun they didn't want to leave. Jill made everything so interactive and fun. She walked around to all of the kids and engaged with them, taught them how to plant vegetables and flowers, made fairy wands with them, read them stories, and let their little minds wander. They got to pick and eat fruit straight from the vines, feed chickens, and learn about chicken eggs and farming. They were fully immersed in their surroundings, learning, playing, and having so much fun. We can't wait to go back!”

“I've been going to First Street Recycling for years. I don't go to sell metal, I go to buy new and used steel. I have never once had a bad experience here. It doesn't matter how small or how big your job is, they will accommodate you accordingly. The prices are amazing (I just purchased enough square tubing and sheet metal to build a welding cart and I paid $16 out the door) and the selection of metal is huge. You will definitely find what you are looking for here. They do accept credit cards and they do not charge you a fee for using it.”

“I love this place! It is so convenient to come and drop off your recycling waste and help the environment at the same time. The facility is nicely run by competent and helpful workers and is operated very efficiently in everything from the drive-thru driveway, parking, and bin placement. There are several areas that are available for you to utilize and that is the main recycling area where you can drop off your glass/plastic bottles, batteries, cardboard, scrap metal, electronics, mixed papers, office papers, used motor oil and cooking oil, etc. You can drop off your unwanted clothing into the large lock bins and there is even a donation trailer where they can take your household goods and get a tax receipt. Whatever can't be recycled in the bins or donated can be left in the exchange zone where it is a free-for-all area where people can go and pick up other's usable items. One thing I need to let you be aware of when you go to the recycling center that I really don't like is all the vultures (i.e people) loitering around looking into your car and your stuff waiting to pounce on anything you are leaving behind so they can pick it up and go sell it online or in their shops instead of going to the needy people or be recycled. The recycling center has rules and policies to deter people from picking up stuff from the bins unless it is in the exchange zone. But you get those people who will come up to you and pretend they work there asking if you have clothing or other goods to drop off. I just ignore them and put the stuff in the designated bins and keep a watchful eye on my car. One other thing to be aware of is if you are dropping off your electronics like laptops or computers please destroy the hard drive and when tossing the items into the bin, make sure to toss it far enough away that someone can't grab it. If the bin is full, ask a worker for a new bin.”

“I was sent to the Roswell Recycling Center after attempting to unload a truck full of misc. debris at the transfer station that use to accept almost everything. Apparently, they no longer take almost everything and I was sent to the Recycling Center with my truck load of debris. Dustin and his co-workers were so patient, polite, kind and very helpful. Since I had planned on dumping everything at the transfer station my debris was not sorted. They helped me sort through a truck bed full of boxes and misc. debris and took almost everything I had. It was an excellent experience and I plan on returning next week with more debris. Of course it will be presorted this time. Thank You Again !”

“Only 1 star because i can't put zero. This place is a joke. We were told we couldn't weigh our roll off truck in because they "don't weigh trash' even though we've been weighed in multiple times. The prices are inconsistent at best. It feels like they're making things up to charge us small business owners more. I thought it would be better when waste management took over but it clearly is not. Super disappointing. Having been fighting with my partner about giving them a chance but... he wins. Do not recommend! Will not be back. There are better places to take your stuff in town. Where it seems like the employees know what's going on and aren't getting to scam us”
