“St. Agnes has been my local parish for decades, so when the previous church was torn down to make way for the new temple, it was bittersweet for me given all the memories made through the years. That being said, the new temple was worth it. It is a magnificent space to worship. Its design feels timeless. And the grounds outside only add to the peace felt at St. Agnes.”

“I could this place zero stars I would they have no water the bathrooms are extremely dirty and they don’t give good food and the people here be stealing everything you have they need to evaluate the kids and not place them with people who are mental distress. They have no washing powder and the staff always arguing with the kids. There’s too many girls in one house and there’s no type of privacy here you have to use a shower curtain to block people from walking in on you and seeing you naked the shower are like jail house showers. This place needs to be shut down and needs to be closed down it’s horrible here. And the bed rooms are too small for 4 people to be sharing and there’s not enough space for you to put your personal belongings. And I would like to give a shout out to the best staff in this campus thst I’ve been with. Mama Q,Ms.D, Ms.H, Ms.Sabene, Ms.Andrea, Ms.Stephine, Ms.Mona, Ms.Red. These staff have done nothing but care and go out there way to help the kids in this hell hold of a place that’s supposed to help and care for the children here. The Assistant Manager Mr.Geo doesn’t like to help certain ppl due to accusations that are not true. And Ms.Olivia is a very disrespectful and disgusting person who likes to talk trash about children and thinks it’s ok to lie and to say very disrespectful things about some of the kids. And both of the Ms.T’s are very disrespectful towards the children and one of them tried to fight one of the kids in the house. When one of the children goes to complain about the things the staff do nothing I’d do and we get told we are doing to much. I would never recommend this place to anyone to come stay at and they have roaches in the kitchen and no one is doing anything to help with it. His House is the most disgusting and disturbing place to send a child who has no where to stay. And the bathrooms don’t have a lock of them”

“Been going here for years. Not many churches in the area that has the architecture of a "church" in North Western Dade. Some near by churches are square building or wearhouses. Our Lady of The Lakes uses local lime stones found underground in Florida, for outside wall and alter back wall to give it a unique South Florida touch. Participating in mass here make me feel at peace compared to other local Catholic churches. Mass are in English and in Spanish, but not bilingual. Check out church webpage for scheduling.”

“I like the area that the church is in, is close to Kendall and FIU school. The area is full of shopping centers and mostly Latin people everywhere. The place Is nice and clean and with friendly people at the church. I was invited by a friend and I finally went and I will be going back as much as I can, the pastor has positive vibes and I can understand the teaching real well as he talks clearly and I have been learning so far.”
