“I cannot recommend this unique hotel, which was once a helmet factory, more. First of all, Alise, the hotel manager is incredibly kind, generous, and inviting. If you have the opportunity to interact with her, consider yourself lucky! I came during the autumn season, which was a really interesting time to visit (right before their light and sound show - so cool to see the LED lights in the sky!) It felt like I had the cozy common space to myself. I felt so inspired here and could have stayed for many more days reflecting, writing, working, etc in the cafe. The nearby woods are simply gorgeous and the town of Ligatne itself has a very interesting character. I was visiting for a 6-course dinner at Pavaru Maja -- a Slow Food concept restaurant. Zeit even built a small forest trail connecting the two places together which was simply magical.”

“We stayed here for 2 nights , loved every bit of it , it’s 10 min walk away from the old town , brilliant location opposite the park. The staff were very welcoming and helpful in every aspect ,the rooms have both shower and bathtub . The sauna on the top floor has a very beautiful view . Definitely staying here next time I visit Riga ,”
