The Travelodge is located just outside of Ipoh town, and it only takes around 10 minutes to get there. The hotel is clean, modern and the amenities are great. “An interesting experience for city folks like us. The whole structure/ operations of Gopeng Glamping Park is very well thought of. It was a pleasant experience right from the start. Booking on the website was smooth. Information provided both on booking website and the follow-up WhatsApp messages were detailed and clear. Enquiries were also very quickly replied to, with specific answers (not robotic generic replies). I really appreciate this, as it makes me comfortable and assures me that I am speaking to a human being. Sadly, the weather was not on our side, and we couldn't do the water rafting activity. But the staff were nice enough to swop it for a leisure rafting ride instead. Rafting guides were friendly. In fact all the staff at the resort were friendly and helpful. We only managed to have the BBQ dinner and it was quite a spread. Worth the amount paid. It was an interesting experience in the tents. You sort of out in nature but with the comforts. Comfortable beds and aircon are provided. So it's very suitable for pampered city folks like us. It was raining throughout the night. But we were totally dry inside the tent. (If anyone is wondering if the tents are wet weather friendly-it is!) Plenty of toilets/shower facilities provided. Suitable for different needs, there are open showers and private ones. Some shower cubicles are small, some are super spacious. Overall, we're very happy with the experience we had there! Definitely a place worth considering a return trip!”

“One of the best hotels to stay in langkawi . Been visiting for 5 yrs , every year now and I find it the best in terms of cleanliness and hospitality. Breakfast is good . It’s near the airport . The beach is not that far , but you do need transport . I usually hire a car to drive around . Makes it easier to have your own transport while on this island if you want to fully explore it . Kudos to the staff for maintaining the property very well ! I don’t know why people find it difficult to spot the stairs to the pool at the roof top . It’s easy to find and the property design is pretty simple . The property has a link bridge between the two main buildings .”

“This COULD be a beautiful, restful, relaxing island but they have ruined it! There is trash EVERYWHERE. It's not up to American standards or European standards at all. The smells from their public restrooms are nauseating and there is a constant smell and pillows of smoke from trash being burned directing behind the different resorts. The sand is soft but littered with lighters, bags, cigarette butts and bottles. It's not worth your hard earned money!”

The fee is RM2-3 per pax (i cant recall). parking is quite spacious as they have a few checkpoint. the river is very clean and you can clearly see small fish and they also bite your feet to eat dead skin! recommended but please be careful as the river have few spot that very deep.”
