“The bungalows with private pool overlooking the ocean was a truly unique and special experience for us. You are very much in nature though, with many animals around. The beach is small but the water is nice and there aren't too many rooms so it never feels crowded. The breakfast spot it great. We just stayed 2 nights, I imagine if you stayed for longer than 3 or 4 days you may get a little bored of the menu which is the same in both restaurants.”

“The hotel itself is beautiful, rooms are large, nice, and clean, and the whole place is quiet and relaxed. The food at dinner was delicious and drinks too, and we enjoyed using the kayaks to explore the coastline. I imagine if the hotel was more busy it would feel quite small but it was the perfect amount when we were there. However, we had reserved a room with a private balcony and upon arrival they tried to put us in another room without saying anything. Of course we noticed right away it wasn't the room we reserved and asked what happened. They had given our room away to other guests, which is an unfortunate and most likely common practice here. They offered us free dinner or an excursion to "make up for it", and we had no choice really. This kind of thing shouldn't happen! Additionally, if you are planning to drive here rent a 4x4 vehicle - the roads are dirt and are barely passable in a regular vehicle.”

“Decent hotel with decent rooms. When we arrived in our room we noticed that the showerhead was broken. upon telling the staff it took a while for them to act on it. But it was eventually fixed. Before we arrived my girlfriend had requested she could stay in the same room after I left (she'd stay a day longer), to which they agreed. When we arrived at the hotel still suddenly wasn't possible anymore and they moved her into a lesser room for the same price.”

“A fantastic relaxing stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel to any one that is looking for some peace and quiet. Not too many day trippers and generally not a huge amount of guests. Room was clean and comfortable. Food is okay, not the best we’ve had since being here and not much choice but still enjoyable. Service can be a little slow but then again you’re relaxing on an island so what’s the hurry? The sun bed system is a bit strange. There doesn’t seem to be a fair way of distributing the best beds with the best views or decks for swimming (that aren’t attached to a private room and people have paid for the privilege). On the first day we arrived it was too busy to get access to the private area until the afternoon, on the second day, a prime bed spot was left empty all day reserved for people on a scuba diving trip, and we noticed the same people in the same spots each day. Finally on the last day (leaving at 3pm) we were given a good spot but only because the people had it for the whole time got upgraded to an even better spot! There must be a better way to improve what is a good system to not fight for beds. Rotate positions each day and don’t leave beds reserved in the best spots when people go out on trips all day. Other than that little annoyance, everything was great.”
