I would remodel the sitting room of our suite removing the desks and adding a sleeper sofa and side tables.”

“Had better accomodations in Jalalabad from the Obama administration. Avoid at all costs. This resort has a huge problem with sewage vapor leak. Vapors, gasses and odors from the sewage, spill into the room and hallways from the sink and showers. The original plumber did not use P traps or S bends in the plumbing, therefore vapors from the sewage just fills the entire room. I've attempted to combat this by filling the sink with water and plugging it, making artificial trap. But this is not possible with the shower. I'm here for a company event for the entire week. Asked for a new room assignment twice a day, once in the morning and once at lunch but the resort double books companies...my only option is to sleep in a golf cart outside or next to the receptionist area. The sewage vapor has given me and my colleagues a sore throat, irritated skin, irritated eyes and nostrils. A few of us are headed to the doctor tomorrow for treatment. Avoid at all costs. Wi-Fi is pretty good.”

“There are several Miramar restaurants in Spain. I made a daft mistake and booked this restaurant for 5 people on a Sunday lunchtime in July. I realised my mistake the day before as we wanted the Miramar in Cabo de Palos over 400 miles south. I cancelled my booking by email and by phone. Apologised for my mistake and was told no fee would be taken for not turning up. I also received a confirmation by email. However about two weeks later the restaurant took 480 euros from my card and refuse to refund it. I’m certain that they resold the table as it was July high season. They had said I would not be charged. They are saying now some weeks later that they lost money as we didn’t turn up. I only knew who had taken the 480 euros from my Spanish bank account on my return to Spain in October. A complete rip off.”

“We have stayed at this hotel about 15 times in the last 22 years.Why do we keep coming back? The service is consistently impeccable, the breakfast range is huge and items are freshly homecooked/baked; rooms are maintained in spotless condition; prices are very reasonable: a big advantage is that there are free to use self-service laundry facilities which cuts down on suitcase weight. Iron aircon is noise less and efficient on economy setting. Many rooms have sea views with no extra charge. I could go on......”

“Played the forest course in early September and was in great condition. Weather was very warm and sunny so the shade from the huge trees lining most fairways was very welcome. A top course. Spanish golf as you'd expect it to be. Couple of nice cold beers in the clubhouse over looking the course after. Will definitely return.”

“Beautiful hotel. I stayed in a single room that was a pretty big room. Lots of storage. 2 closets and 3 dresser drawers. Very good location right on the boardwalk /beach. Nice big bathroom with a large shower! I had a bit of a rough start at this location but minor issues. The only suggestion I would make to this hotel is get rid of the carpet and replace with hard floors.”

“Wry good deal for the budget minded hotel seeker. We came off a cruise ship and for one night did not want to spend a lot of money for an overnight stay before heading to our next destination. This Hampton Inn hit the spot. Very close to a subway line and easy access to the major tourist areas of the city. It is in a financial area of the city so weekends are empty in this part of the city. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom a nice size with walk in shower. The TV had multiple English channels as well as all the Spanish ones. The room is not overly large but neither was the price. The staff were very cordial and spoke English. Very helpful staff. My only caution is that there is a lot of construction going on across the street and some pounding of a pile driver as part of the construction so you will hear the sounds from the equipment go on without relief. So bring your ear plugs if u are a light sleeper.”

“This is a lovely 3 star hotel. It dates from the 60s so please expect this and take this into account, it is not ultra modern. However after saying that this does not distract from it's charm. The hotel is comfortable, there is a fantastic pool aswell as other great leisure activities such as table tennis, a tennis court, boules pitch, poolside bar and indoor games room. It's a hotel well suited to couples and families alike. Maybe not a hotel for those intent on a wild nightlife etc. The food at the breakfast bar and evening meal was excellent. The beach is only a 5 minute stroll from the hotel. Finally, the staff make the difference here. Friendly, welcoming, efficient and appreciative of their guests. They put an extra star on for me. I would recommend this hotel.”

“It's a nice place to have a cozy, quiet vacation. Views are nice. All in all, it has only two downsides: 1. Overpriced restaurant. This, perhaps, is just a personal preference thing, but in my and my spouse opinion, the price is a bit too high for what you get. After a stay, I visited a different place with prices at a restaurant 1.5 times higher, but the food was a thousand times more delicious. Again, this might be a personal taste thing. 2. Don't make my mistake and leave expensive items in a room - they might get missing and you won't ever find them again. This was unexpected for me from this level of a hotel.”

“On the first day we got there, there were 13 people in the pool which were friends with the owner (not guests), drunk and shouting at each other making it very unpleasant. The hotel later did not charge us for one night given this situation. Very unprofessional staff, young with little experience in the sector. In our room there was no hair dryer, wifi and we could hear the washing machine through the AC at 00:30! On a positive note, beautiful location, amazing pool and great food. Overall, I would not give it more than 3 stars.”

“Mixed feelings on how to rate this hotel. The room was small, too small, not so clean, no mini fridge, had to rent one, no kettle no tea/coffee. In general dissapointed with the room and the room service. Not the usual 4 star hotel standard, way below. On the other side, breakfast and dinner were amazing. Especially buffet dinner. At least 20 starters, 20 different mains to select. 10 different desserts. 10 different fruit options. All across 4 huge buffet tables. Dinners were themed, one day was mexican, one day spannish, one day chinese, one day italian and so on. Great food, nothing to say other then excellent. Would not reccomend kids club for kids under 7-8 yo. They do dangerous running, climbing, pool jumping, things I usually do not allow my 5 yo to do without proper supervision. Anyway, conclusion: poor rooms, extraordinarry dinner, good room prices, so in general good value for money.”
